11 NE10 Programs Recognized for Academic Achievement.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference produced 11 soccer programs – four on the men’s side and seven on the women’s side – that earned United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards for excellence in the classroom during the 2019-20 school year, as announced on Thursday.
Bentley and Saint Rose had both their men’s and women’s programs earn United Soccer Coaches’ recognition, the only two NE10 institutions to claim the feat. For the Saint Rose women, it is their league-best 19th consecutive time earning the honor.
To qualify for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, a team must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.
