NE10 Women in Sports Panel (Feb. 2, 2023)

The NE10 sponsored a "Women in Sports Panel" in celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day and the Title IX 50th Anniversary, which brought together former NE10 student-athletes from various employment positions in sport to share their experiences and paths to where they are now. The event kicked-off with a keynote delivered by Dr. Donna Lopiano (SCSU ‘68), President and founder of Sports Management Resources. Following the keynote, Emily Dorko (Adelphi ‘13, MBA ‘15, HOF ‘21), current Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Adelphi University, moderated a panel discussion with six former NE10 student-athletes, who are working in the sport industry.
