MANSFIELD, Mass. - The release of the NE-10's Spring Commissioners' Honor Roll proved the league's student-athletes are excelling in the classroom at a record-level.

Overall, 3,661 NE-10 student-athletes were named to the the Commissioner’s Honor Roll (CHR) for the Spring 2016 semester. The 61% of the conference's student-athletes that were named to the CHR is a new NE-10 record

Nine of the conference's 15 institutions had at least 60-percent of their total student-athlete population claim CHR laurels and five more had at least 50 percent.

"This is outstanding news for the NE-10 and it's member institutions," said Commissioner Julie Ruppert. "It shows that our student-athletes are succeeding at record levels in the classroom, and I couldn't be more proud of their accomplishments."

The NE-10 CHR program recognizes the conference’s student-athletes for their achievements within the classroom. In order to be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale during the fall semester.
