SAAC Officers to Serve for 2020-21 School Year.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference is proud to announce new committee chairmen for its Council of Presidents, Athletics Council, Senior Woman Administrators (SWA), Sport Administration Council and Head Athletic Trainers, as well as its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) officers, for the 2020-21 school year.
Additionally, committee chairs were re-elected for the Faculty Athletic Representatives and Athletic Communications groups – serving another two-year term for the league in their respective roles.
The Council of Presidents, Athletics Council, Sport Administration Council and SAAC officers are all one-year appointments, while the rest of the positions are two-year tenures.
The NE10 SAAC consists of 29 student-athletes, with one male and one female from each of the league's 14 member institutions. Southern New Hampshire has three SAAC members, as field hockey player Kate Pigsley serves on the National SAAC as sponsored by the NCAA. A vote was conducted among the group to determine league officers for the upcoming school year.
Leadership has never been more pivotal in the NE10 than right now in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the league office is excited to work with these individuals moving forward. Congratulations to all on their appointments!

Beginning its 40th anniversary season, the NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.
Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
