Wejnert and Dunlavy Earn D2CCA Recognition.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Pace's Peyton Wejnert and Stonehill's Rachel Dunlavy, the Northeast-10 Conference's Scholar-Athletes of the Year following the 2019-20 season, have earned recognition from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) as Regional Scholar-Athletes of the Year.

"Congratulations to our Scholar-Athletes of the Year and regional winners," said D2CCA President Tom Daeger. "(It is) an impressive group of students who continue to bring light to college athletics during a difficult time in our industry and in the world."

Wejnert was a finance major at Pace, recording a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.89. He was voted CoSIDA Academic All-America of the Year and won the 2020 NE10 Sport Excellence Award for men's basketball. Additionally, he was an All-Conference First Team selection, the Met Writers Player of the Year and led the NE10 with 23.5 points per game.

Dunlavy achieved a 3.98 GPA as an economics major and was the NE10 Elite 24 Award winner for volleyball. A team captain during her junior and senior seasons, Dunlavy was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team and NE10 Academic All-Conference selection. She appeared in 98 matches throughout her career with the Skyhawks, finishing seventh all-time in career digs (1,181).

It is the first time since the 2016-17 season that NE10 student-athletes have swept both D2CCA East Region Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors (2016-17: Merrimack's Carly Muscaro and Le Moyne's Tim Buff).
