4,421 Student-Athletes Earn Academic Honor Roll Status.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – For the second consecutive semester, the Northeast-10 Conference has hit the 70-percent mark for student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll due to their outstanding performance in the classroom.
The NE10 is proud to recognize 4,421 student-athletes from its 14 member and four associate member institutions as award recipients for the 2020 fall semester. The Academic Honor Roll acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations – Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49 GPA).
13 of 14 NE10 full member institutions had at least 50-percent of their student-athletes on the list. Eight institutions had over 70-percent of its student-athletes included, with a league-best 89-percent from Adelphi. Bentley (87-percent) and Pace (86-percent) were second and third, respectively.

Among the student-athletes that were recognized, an impressive 450 of them earned Academic Excellence accolades by recording a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall – nearly 200 more than the fall semester of 2019. Southern New Hampshire had a league-high 69 student-athletes earn a 4.0.
Bentley had the highest total number of student-athletes with 466, while Assumption was second with 399. Football had the most student-athletes honored with 487, while women's soccer led all female sports with 345.
The NE10 had 11 sports produce 200 or more student-athletes with a minimum 3.0 GPA for the fall semester. Nine of the league's 24 sports saw increases in the total number of student-athletes recognized compared to the spring semester of 2020, with women's cross country (+70) and men's lacrosse (+42) leading the way.
