Conference to Award Championships in All 10 Fall Sports.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – After missing the 2020 fall season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Northeast-10 Conference prepares to make its triumphant comeback to formal competition and is excited to announce fall championship dates for the 2021 season.
The Conference will sponsor nine fall championship events for its 10 sports in the coming months – including men's golf, women's golf and women's tennis, which will return to their traditional season of competition in 2021-22. Football does not have a championship game, but instead recognizes a league champion based on conference record in the regular season.
The NE10 Men's Golf Championship is scheduled to be the first fall championship on Oct. 4-5 (Monday and Tuesday) at Concord Country Club in Concord, N.H. Just four days later, the NE10 Women's Golf Championship will take place on Oct. 9-10 (Saturday and Sunday) at Beaver Meadow Golf Club in Concord, N.H. The host of both tournaments is Southern New Hampshire.
Golf, along with cross country, are the only championships with predetermined sites. The NE10 Cross Country Championships are slated for Sunday, Oct. 24, at South Athletic Fields on the campus of Saint Anselm College. On the same day, the NE10 Women's Tennis Championship will take place on the home court of the highest-seeded team remaining.
High seeds will also host the NE10 Field Hockey Championship (Sunday, Nov. 7), the NE10 Men's Soccer Championship (Saturday, Nov. 13), the NE10 Women's Soccer Championship (Sunday, Nov. 14) and the NE10 Volleyball Championship (Saturday, Nov. 20).
