MANSFIELD, Mass. – The NCAA revealed its selections for the Division II Men's & Women's Basketball Championships on Sunday night and the Northeast-10 Conference had nine programs selected - including both East Region top seeds in the Bentley men's and Southern New Hampshire women's teams.

The NCAA DII Women's Basketball East Regional begins on Friday at SNHU. The Penmen won the Northeast Division regular season title with a 15-4 record in NE10 play - boasting a 21-6 overall record on its way to earning hosting rights. SNHU will play No. 8-seeded Daemen in an NCAA first round matchup.

Bentley, the 2022 NE10 Women's Basketball Championship winner, earned the No. 5-seed and will play No. 4-seeded Jefferson on Friday. Southwest Division regular season co-champions Le Moyne and Pace were selected as the No. 6 and 7 seeds, respectively. The Dolphins will play USciences and the Setters will face Chestnut Hill.

It is the third-straight season that the NE10 has had at least four women's basketball programs in the NCAA Championship field.

The NCAA DII Men's Basketball East Regional begins on Saturday at Bentley. The Falcons, who captured their first NE10 title since 2008 on Sunday, are ranked No. 16 in the latest NABC poll and earned the top seed and hosting duties in regional play. Bentley will play No. 8-seeded Felician in the first round.

Overall, the NE10 had five men's basketball programs selected - including No. 2-seeded Franklin Pierce, the NE10 finalist, which will play No. 7-seeded St. Thomas Aquinas. No. 3-seeded Saint Anselm will face off against No. 6-seeded New Haven - a rematch of the NE10 Championship quarterfinals - which was an 81-79 win for the Hawks in overtime. No. 5-seeded Pace, the Southwest Division regular season champion, will take on No. 4-seeded Dominican (NY).

The last time the NE10 had at least five men's teams in the NCAA East Regional was the 2016-17 season.
