Franklin Pierce Ranked in Top 10 Following Fall Season.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference had 10 of its 13 member institutions ranked in the fall standings of the 2022-23 LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, which is a metric used to award points based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships. The updated standings were announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) at the end of December.
The NE10 had three schools achieve Top 15 status, including Franklin Pierce - which came in at No. 9 with 211.0 points. Adelphi was ranked No. 11 with 190.0 points and Southern New Hampshire was No. 14 with 169.0 points. Overall, the Conference had four institutions in the Top 50 and seven in the Top 100.
Franklin Pierce earned the maximum 100.0 points in men's soccer after winning the NCAA DII Championship for the second time in program history. The Ravens also recorded 73 points in women's soccer after a trip to the NCAA DII Quarterfinals. Adelphi scored in five different sports - including 64 points in volleyball - while Southern New Hampshire tallied 73 points in volleyball after winning its first-ever NCAA DII East Region Championship.
Saint Anselm (No. 33), Saint Rose (No. 57), Assumption (No. 63), American International (No. 64), Southern Connecticut (No. 122), Bentley (No. 127) and New Haven (No. 127) were also recognized on the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings for the fall.
