32 Student-Athletes Recognized.
MANSFIELD, Mass. - As the Northeast-10 Conference jumps into its spring sport season, 32 baseball and lacrosse student-athletes were named Preseason All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), USA Lacrosse Magazine and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), respectively.
Men's lacrosse - which started its 2023 campaign this past week - had 17 student-athletes named Preseason All-Americans, including Adelphi's Joe Duchnowski, who was selected the 2022 NE10 Men's Lacrosse Player of the Year. Saint Anselm had a league-high four players selected between USILA and USA Lacrosse Magazine.
Women's lacrosse had 12 student-athletes recognized as Preseason All-Americans by USA Lacrosse Magazine, led by New Haven's Gabby Buscemi - the 2022 NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year. Le Moyne had a league-best four selections, highlighted by First Team players Jessica Meneilly and Taylor Reich.
Baseball had three student-athletes earn preseason honors from the NCBWA, with Franklin Pierce's Kyle Roche leading the way as a Third Team selection at starting pitcher. Southern Connecticut's Andrew Eng and Southern New Hampshire's Trevor Anibal won Honorable Mention distinctions.
