QUICK HIT: No. 19 Assumption will have a big chance on Saturday when it meets national powerhouse Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Brian Kelly, a 1983 Assumption alum and current head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), formerly served as head coach at Grand Valley State and won a pair of NCAA Division II national titles in 2002 and 2003.

QUICK HIT: No. 4 Saint Anselm will visit reigning NE10 champion Adelphi on Saturday. It will be a rematch of the 2022 NE10 Field Hockey Championship semifinals, when Adelphi upset top-seeded Saint Anselm by a 2-1 margin in double overtime on a goal by Kaylee Deleva - her second score of the game.

QUICK HIT: It will be an NE10 ranked matchup of epic proportion on Saturday night when No. 3 Saint Rose visits No. 14 Franklin Pierce. In the 2022 season, Franklin Pierce beat Saint Rose in double overtime in the East Region final to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals - and in the process, snapped Saint Rose's two-year streak of reaching at least the national semifinals.
VOLLEYBALL
2023 International Volleyball Hall of Fame (IVHOF) East Region Clash: Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16 (Tournament Central)
QUICK HIT: Five volleyball teams - including three from the NE10 - will compete this weekend at AIC in the IVHOF East Region Clash. In addition to two-time reigning NE10 champion American International, the two-day tournament will also feature Bentley, Saint Anselm, Molloy and Holy Family. Last season, AIC went an undefeated 4-0 in the tournament.
