Angel (Schofield) Ayers certainly knew how to leave a lasting impression. On the Springfield College campus, she was one of the greatest female student-athletes to ever represent the college and across the NE-10, and was a dominant soccer player whose effects are felt to this day.

To this day, she remains the all time leading scorer for the program with 51 goals and 127 points, and her accolades remain impressive by any standard.

She was a three-time All NE-10 First Teamer, and went on to earn conference Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior. She was named a First Team All American three straight seasons and was named the Division II Player of the Year as a junior and as a senior led her squad to the league tournament title.
