14 NE10 Programs Earn NFHCA National Academic Team Award   

BROCKPORT, N.Y. — The Northeast-10 recently had 14 field hockey programs earn the 2020 NFHCA Division II National Academic Team Award from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

 Adelphi posted the third highest GPA of all Division II programs with an impressive 3.75 GPA, while Southern New Hampshire was fifth overall with a 3.71 team GPA.

Also earning honors from the NFHCA was AIC, Assumption, Bentley, Franklin Pierce, Molloy, New Haven, Pace, Saint Anselm, Saint Michael's, Southern Connecticut, Saint Thomas Aquinas and Stonehill. 

The NFHCA National Academic Team Award recognizes programs that earned a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the fall semester of the 2020-2021 school year. 

ABOUT THE NE10
Beginning its 40th anniversary season, the NE10 is an association of 14 diverse institutions serving student-athletes across 24 NCAA Division II sports. Together we build brilliant futures by embracing the journey of every student-athlete.  

Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship. Leading the way in the classroom, on the field and within the community, the NE10 is proud of its comprehensive program and the experience it provides student-athletes.
