Week 3 - September 20, 2021

NE10 Player of the Week

Isabel Primack, Assumption
Senior | Forward | Ipswich, Mass.

Primack scored two goals and assisted on two goals in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. All her goals and assists came in a 7-2 victory over Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon. She finished the week with 10 shots, nine on goal, for a .900 shots on goal percentage.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Abigail Campbell, Stonehill
Senior | Goalkeeper | Norfolk, Mass.

Posted a 0.80 goals against average, while yielding just two goals against in 150-minutes of play over three starts in a big 3-0 week for the No. 8-ranked Skyhawks. Averaged 5.33 saves per game and posted an .889 save percentage for the week and didn't yield a goal in 90-minutes of play over Stonehill's two weekend wins. She opened the week with a career-high 11 saves in Stonehill's 3-2 triumph over No. 3 Saint Anselm. She posted four stops over the first three quarters of play, with out allowing a goal before coming out of the game, in Saturday's 7-1 win over Mercy. Notched a save in 45-minutes of shutout play in Sunday's 4-0 win over Mercyhurst.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Madeleine McGee, Stonehill
Sophomore | Midfield | Pearl River, N.Y.

Spearheaded the No. 8-ranked Skyhawks defensive effort in a big 3-0 week that posted a 1.00 team goals against average, while limiting opponents to 16.3 shots per game, just ten per game on goal, and 7.7 penalty corners per game - without conceding a goal off a corner for the week in 23 defenses. McGee keyed Stonehill's 3-2 triumph over No. 3 Saint Anselm to start the week on Tuesday with a pair of defensive saves, while also netting her first career goal to give the Skyhawks a 2-0 lead on their way to the win. Stonehill's defense held Mercy to just eight shots through three quarters without yielding a goal in an eventual 7-1 win on Saturday, then the Skyhawks held Mercyhurst to seven shots, including three on target, in the shutout victory.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Bridgie Loughlin, St. Michael's
Sophomore | Forward | Kingston, N.Y.

Sophomore Bridgie Loughlin scored her first three collegiate goals during a 1-1 week. In a 5-0 win over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, she scored amid a four-goal fourth quarter before tallying twice in a 7-2 loss to No. 4 Assumption on Saturday. The Greyhounds had allowed only three goals all season entering the game, as Loughlin became the first Assumption opponent to score multiple goals in 41 games - since Stonehill's Kacie Smith, the NCAA's all-time goals-per-game leader, in 2018.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Logan Shunney, American Int'l (Fr., M - East Greenwich, R.I.)
Shunney was a defensive machine for the Yellow Jackets in a 1-1 week. She helped hold No. 4 Assumption to just one goal, and then made a defensive save in overtime to keep AIC alive in a game the team eventually won 2-1 against Southern Connecticut.

Jessica Stone, American Int'l (Jr., GK - Fredericksburg, Va.)
Stone was once again a wall in AIC's net. She smothered the offense of No. 4 Assumption, making 15 saves on 16 shots, and then led AIC to an overtime win against Southern Connecticut by stopping a 3-on-0 breakaway with under 10 seconds remaining in regulation.
 
Caroline Szatkowski, Bentley (Jr., F - Reeders, Pa.)
In the Falcons? only contest of the week, Szatkowski scored her first two career goals, including the game-winner, in a 4-2 victory over Southern New Hampshire.
 
Keira Integlia, New Haven (Gr., GK - Branford, Conn.)
With her second shutout of the season and a combined 22 saves over the last three games, graduate transfer goalkeeper Keira Integlia has helped lead the New Haven Field Hockey team to a 3-0 start in Northeast-10 Conference play. Overall for the week, Integlia earned a pair of victories, playing all 180 minutes in the cage. She opened up the week with eight saves to secure the second-straight shutout for New Haven with a 1-0 win over Pace. She matched that save total against No. 2 West Chester as the Chargers held one of the best offenses in the country to a single goal. She then closed out the week with six saves on the road at Franklin Pierce to maintain the Chargers perfect record in NE10 action.
 
Mia Radici, Pace (Sr., F - San Diego, Calif.)
Radici led the Setters' offense during their 6-3 triumph over Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday. The senior recorded two goals and an assist as Pace notched its first NE10 win of the season.
 
Riley O'Connor, St. Michael's (Fr., GK - Canton, Mass.)
Freshman Riley O'Connor (Canton, Mass.) averaged 16.5 saves with an .825 save percentage during a 1-1 week. She notched 10 saves during a 5-0 shutout of Franklin Pierce on Tuesday before setting a school freshman record with 23 stops on Saturday in a 7-2 loss to No. 4 Assumption.
 
Jenna Puleo, St. Michael's (Sr., F/M - Essex Junction, Vt.)
Senior Jenna Puleo (Essex Junction, Vt.) handed out four assists on seven goals during a 1-1 week. In a 5-0 win against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, she assisted the second-minute game-winner before lending a hand on the second goal, during the 48th minute. In a 7-2 loss to No. 4 Assumption on Saturday, she helped the Purple Knights score twice against a defense that had allowed only three goals all season.
 
Jessie Hohenstein, St. Thomas Aquinas (Sr., GK - Stroudsburg, Pa.)
Jessie Hohenstein picked up her first victory of the 2021 season in a 2-1 triumph over Mercy College. Hohenstein made 6 saves on the day for the Spartans, including two key saves in the third and fourth quarters to keep the score in favor of STAC.
 
Emily Ledoux, Stonehill (Sr., M - Southborough, Mass.)
Led the No. 8 Skyhawks with two goals and an assist for five points in a big 3-0 week, notching a point in each of the three wins. Her goal against No. 3 Saint Anselm on Tuesday gave Stonehill a 3-1 lead in the fourth quarter of the eventual 3-2 win. She was also among seven goalscorers in Saturday's 7-1 win over Mercy and then dished an assist in Sunday's 4-0 win over Mercyhurst.
 
Janelle Ward, Southern Conn. St. (Jr., GK - Kitchener, Ontario)
SCSU's only game of the week saw Ward start and play all 68 minutes. She made seven stops in the Owls 2-1 overtime loss to No. 10 AIC.
