Week 10 - November 7, 2022

NE10 Player of the Week

Krista Dietz, Pace
Sophomore | Forward | Mahopac, N.Y.

Dietz scored four straight Pace goals across two wins, including a hat trick, while also distributing one assist for nine points in one week. The sophomore forward now holds the Setters' single-season goals, assists, and points records, as well as the single-game points record.


NE10 Defensive Player of the Week

Kylie Peregoy, Adelphi
Junior | Defense | Medford, N.Y.

Peregoy had an assist in each of Adelphi's wins last week and also snagged a defensive save in a 6-1 win against Frankli Pierce.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Mia Trottie, Bentley
Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Cinnaminson, N.J.

In a 1-0 shootout victory over New Haven, Trottie authored her third consecutive shutout of the season, made five saves and denied the Chargers on five of six shootout attempts. In her last six games, she has a 0.56 goals against average.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Emiline Biggin, Adelphi
Redshirt Freshman | Forward | Carle Place, N.Y.

Biggin had a goal in each of the Panthers' wins last week, and also added an assist. Both of her goals resulted in the game-winning tallies as she had five total points on the week. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Amanda Lee, Adelphi (So., M - Stony Brook, N.Y.)
Tallied a goal against STAC earlier in the week and got a hat trick against Franklin Pierce to help win both games.

Lily Daly, Assumption (Sr., F - Foxborough, Mass.)
Daly extended her point streak to five games after she picked up three goals in two games this week. On Senior Day, Daly opened up the scoring early, breaking through 47 seconds in.

Kylie Gargiulo, Assumption (Sr., GK - Madison, Conn.)
Gargiulo picked up career wins of 45 and 46 on the week, as Assumption pushed their winning streak to five-straight games.

Christine Jarowicz, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M - Kennebunk, Maine)
Had a goal and two assists, for four points, in an 0-2 week for the Ravens. On Wednesday against Bentley, scored a goal off a 53rd-minute corner and later assisted on a goal in the 55th minute. On Saturday against Adelphi, contributed five shots and picked up a Senior Day assist in the 38th minute. Recorded eight shots (four on goal) over the two games.

Ally Schreck, Mercy (Jr., F - Miller Place, N.Y.)
Schreck scored a game-high two goals in Mercy's win over Molloy on Wednesday.

Alina Buerger, Pace (Fr., GK - Bradenburg, Germany) 
The German freshman was stout a 2-0 for the Setters this week, including a shutout, with 10 saves and only two goals allowed in 120 minutes in net.

Joanna Archambault, Saint Anselm (Sr., B - Andover, Mass.)
Scored her team's second goal of the game on Saturday against Molloy off a penalty corner.

Maddie Davis, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Exeter, Mass.)
Against Molloy on Saturday (in under 20 minutes of game play), junior Maddie Davis posted two goals and an assist for five points, scoring twice for the third consecutive game. In her last five games, she has totaled seven goals and four assists for 18 points and now has nine assists, falling one short of tying the single-season record for helpers.

Courtney Watt, Saint Michael's (Jr., GK - Auckland, New Zealand)
Junior Courtney Watt posted a 1.00 GAA and an .889 save percentage during a 1-1 week. In a 2-0 win over AIC on Wednesday, she made two saves before turning aside 14 shots, including stopping a penalty stroke, in a 2-0 loss to Pace on Saturday.

Nicola Van Vuuren, STAC (So., D - Pretoria Gauteng, South Africa)
Nicola Van Vuuren scored the game-tying goal in STAC's 4-3 double OT victory over Southern New Hampshire. She also had the assist on the game-winning goal in the same match.

Annemartine Christis, SNHU (So., F - Hertogenbosch, Netherlands)
Sophomore Annemartine Christis had a big week, although the Penmen dropped a pair of double-overtime games. Christis scored on Wednesday night at #6 Assumption, and then assisted on all three SNHU goals Saturday vs. STAC. Christis leads the Penmen with 22 points (six goals, 10 assists).
