Eleven Student-Athletes Named NFHCA All-Americans

Saint Anselm Leads NE10 with Three All-Americans.


MANSFIELD, Mass. – Eleven student-athletes represented the Northeast-10 Conference on the National Field Hockey Coaches All-America Teams, including two on the First Team, as announced by the organization last week. 

Christina Leonard of Assumption and Maggie Malloy of Saint Anselm were the only two First Team selections. Leonard, a First Team All-Conference player, led the Greyhounds with 12 goals and registered 26 points on the season. Malloy, also a First Team All-Conference player and the NE10 Player of the Year, was the conference leader in goals and points with 19 and 46, respectively.

Saint Anselm led all teams with three selections, as Jackie Gaumer and NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year, Mackenzie McConnell were named to the Second Team. Adelphi, Assumption and New Haven all had two honorees, with Assumption having one on the First Team (Leonard) and one on the Second Team, Mia Salah. Adelphi and New Haven's two players both landed on the Second Team. The two Panthers honored were Bianca Bachisin and Kaylee Deleva, and the two Chargers, the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year Taylor Geaglone and Sophie Schreck.

Lida Coco from Bentley and Krista Dietz from Pace also picked up Second Team honors, to wrap up the 11 NE10 student-athletes honored.
