Second Title Win for Ravens in Last Three Seasons.

VERONA, N.Y. – Monday was a Hole-In-One kind of day for Franklin Pierce, as the Ravens won the 2019 Northeast-10 Conference Women's Golf Championship by a 27-stroke margin at Turning Stone Resort & Casino – the second-ever league title in program history.

Led by the remarkable efforts of freshman Jinnapat Rittawee, who accounted for a hole-in-one on the ninth hole Monday, took home individual medalist honors with a four-over (148) for the tournament. Rittawee shot even-par (72) on Sunday and carded a 76 on Monday to edge Le Moyne's Bianca Cruz-Hernandez by two strokes.

Taking a 19-stroke lead into Monday's final round, the Ravens ran away with the NE10 title by posting a 28-over – eight shots better than runner-up Assumption. The Greyhounds finished with a 73-over for the tournament, which was good for their first-ever runner-up placement.

Rittawee – a three-time NE10 Golfer of the Week and four-time Rookie of the Week – earned her fourth individual medalist honor of the fall, as her sensational freshman campaign continues. Teammates Taylor Hartley and Christine Songcuan also finished in the top-five, qualifying for the All-Championship Team.

Cruz-Hernandez and Assumption's Catherine French rounded-out the top five on the player leaderboard, earning spots on the All-Championship Team.

Additionally, Assumption's Samantha Leary won the Women's Golf Elite 24 Award with her 3.897 GPA in Elementary Education and English. The Elite 24 honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site of each NE10 Championship.
