NE10 Player of the Week

Zach Laput, Bentley
Junior | Guard | Beacon Falls, Conn.

During a 3-0 week, Laput averaged 21 points, 7.3 rebounds, three assists and one steal while shooting .550 overall and .800 from the foul line. The conference's top scorer had 21 points and eight rebounds at Southern New Hampshire, 19 and 8 against previously unbeaten Dominican and 23 and 6 against Post.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Alan Brzezinski, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Guard | Örebro, Sweden

Brzezinski averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal in a team-high 28.0 minutes, all off the bench, in a 2-1 week. He shot 7-for-15 (46.7%) from three-point range and 10-for-11 (90.9%) on free throws. In a 76-74 loss to Staten Island on Tuesday, Brzezinski totaled 10 points (4x8 FG, 2x4 3PT), nine rebounds, three offensive boards and one assist before collecting 18 points (3x7 3PT, 7x7 FT), four rebounds and three steals in a 100-87 win over D'Youville on Friday. He posted nine points (2x4 3PT, 3x3 FT), five rebounds and a helper in a 68-58 victory against Lake Superior State on Saturday.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Ronnie Silva, Adelphi (Sr., G - Nashua, N.H.)
In a 1-1 week of action for Adelphi, Silva accounted for 19.0 points per game with a field goal percentage of 48 through two games. He dropped 15 in a loss to Le Moyne, knocking down half of his attempts and then lifted Adelphi to a victory against Jefferson with 23 points while making all four free throws.

Cooper Creek, Assumption (Jr, F - Merredin, Australia)
Creek poured in a career-high 25 points in Assumption's game at AIC on Tuesday. The junior forward hit 5-of-11 from long range and was 10-of-16 from the field. Creek added five rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block to his stat line on Tuesday.

Mohamed Traore, Franklin Pierce (So., G - Hyde Park, Mass.)
In a 1-1 week for the Ravens, Traore strung together 37 total points scored with 10 rebounds and seven assists, while going 14-of-27 (51.9%) from the floor. Of his 37 total points, the Raven guard collected a season-high 21 points in their lone win over California (Pa.).

Luke Sutherland, Le Moyne (Jr., F - Syracuse, N.Y.)
Sutherland averaged 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in Le Moyne's 2-1 week. He opened the week with 11 points and six rebounds in a 76-65 victory at Adelphi. He tallied 20 points, five rebounds and two assists in an 83-81 overtime setback to Winston-Salem State on Friday evening. He registered 20 points, including 15 in the first half and four rebounds in a 61-59 win over Gannon on Saturday.

Brandon Powell, Pace (Sr., G - Middletown, N.Y.)
Powell averaged 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in a 2-0 week for Pace. He scored a season-high 23 points against Staten Island, including a career-high tying five three-point field goals. His 17 points and three steals led the Setters to a convincing win against Saint Anselm prior to Thanksgiving.

Owen McGlashan, Saint Anselm (Sr., G - Marlton, N.J.)
McGlashan led the Hawks with 20 points per game, shooting 17-for-26 (.654) from the floor and adding six three-point baskets in the process. Additionally, he produced 5.0 rebounds per game after reeling in seven caroms at Pace on Nov. 22.

Romar Reid, Saint Michael's (Jr., G - Mount Vernon, N.Y.)
Reid averaged 13.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 16-for-19 (84.2%) on free throws in a 2-1 week. During a 76-74 loss to Staten Island on Tuesday, he totaled 15 points (6x13 FG), three assists, two rebounds and two steals before turning in 15 points (11x12 FT), six assists, two rebounds and two steals in a 100-87 victory over D'Youville on Friday. Reid added 11 points (4x9 FG), two assists and two boards in a 68-58 win over Lake Superior State on Saturday.

Zack Penn, Southern Connecticut (Sr., F - New Hartford, Conn.)
In the Owls' 83-60 win at Molloy, Penn led all Owls with 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the floor and 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Penn also grabbed nine rebounds, including five on the offensive end.

Evan Guillory, Southern N.H. (So., G - Springfield, Mo.)
Guillory averaged 19.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 48.3 percent (14-29) from the field and 90.9 percent (10-11) from the stripe, during an 0-2 week for the Penmen. Guillory posted 16 points (6-16 FG, 4-5 FT) and six rebounds in a 78-60 loss to 19th-ranked Bentley on Tuesday and then dropped a career-high 22 points (8-13 FG, 6-6 FT) to go with three rebounds, two assists and two steals in Sunday's 78-75 defeat against Dominican (N.Y.).
