MANSFIELD, Mass. – Bentley's Tommy Ethier and Ellis Yoder have both been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), receiving recognition for their outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments during the 2021 spring season.

In order to be eligible for All-America Scholar status, a Division II individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. Additionally, they must participate in 40-percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 78.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Ethier, a Division II PING Honorable Mention All-American, became the NE10 Player of the Year for the second-straight season after earning medalist honors at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region Championships. He finished tied for 39th in his second-career trip to the NCAA Division II Championships.

In four years at Bentley, Ethier had a stroke-average of 74.5 – matching his average from the 2021 spring season. Additionally, he is a PING Division II All-East Region honoree, Third Team All-Conference and an NE10 Elite 24 Award winner for the second time in three years.

This past spring, Yoder secured a 77.1 stroke average. A two-time team captain, he finished with a career mark of 75.1. Yoder earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees in four years from Bentley.
