Badour with Program-Best 146 Career Points.
"On This Date" in 2019, senior attacker Carter Badour became the all-time career leader in points for the Saint Rose men's lacrosse program – recording five points on four goals and one assist in a 19-11 setback against Saint Anselm in the final game of his collegiate career.
Badour finished his career with 146 points for the Golden Knights. He had just one more career point than previous leader Matt Graham (145), but achieved his total in 16 fewer games.
The Saint Rose record book is filled with Badour's name, as he is also the career leader in goals (112), goals per game (2.43), points per game (3.17) and shots on goal (250). For a program that has existed for just eight years dating back to 2012, Badour made his case as arguably the greatest player to ever compete for the Golden Knights.
Badour was voted a two-time All-Conference selection by the head coaches in the Northeast-10 Conference as a junior and senior. In his last two seasons in Albany, he racked up 117 total points – over 80-percent of his career scoring – including a program single-season record of 61 points as a senior. He tallied 44 goals in each season.
A native of Ottawa, Canada, Badour was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft by the Rochester Knighthawks – becoming the first Golden Knights' player to be drafted.
