Pezzimenti Headlines Men's Lacrosse All-Conference Awards

Dolphins Lead NE10 With 10 All-Conference Selections 


MANSFIELD, Mass. – Le Moyne's Joey Pezzimenti was selected as the Northeast-10 Player of the Year as the league announced its All-Conference Awards on Tuesday afternoon. 

The Dolphins did had a conference-high 10 players selected to all-conference teams including three on the first team and one major award winner, Pezzimenti. Pezzimenti led Le Moyne to a perfect 10-0 NE10 record in the regular season, en route to being named NE10 Player of the Year. He was the conference leader in goals scored and points with 25 and 45, respectively. He also ranked second in assists with 20. Pezzimenti had a season-high seven points multiple times this season on top of his seven ground balls. 

Ryan Slattery of Saint Anselm was honored as the NE10 Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. He played in all ten of the Hawks' NE10 games and registered 21 ground ball pick ups and 11 caused turnovers. Slattery's efforts on the defensive end lead Saint Anselm to give up the least amount of goals in the conference this season. 

Cam Bartolomeo of Bentley was named Face-Off Specialist of the Year, the first-ever winner of the award. Bartolomeo ranked second in the conference going 153-238 in face-offs with a 64.7% success rate. 

Bartolomeo is joined by fellow Falcon, Jim Murphy, as NE10 Coach of the Year. He led Bentley to a second place finish in the regular season with an 8-2 NE10 record. Murphy is looking to lead the Falcons to the program's first-ever NE10 Championship appearance. 

Adelphi's Dylan Renner was named the NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year. He started and played in all NE10 games, registering 542:04 minutes. He finished 6-2 in conference play, leading the NE10 with a 58.6 save percentage backed by 106 saves. He averaged 8.3 goals against per contest, allowing 75 goals all season long. Renner is the first Adelphi goalkeeper to win the award since Brendan McDougal in 2019. 

Noah Gibson of Saint Rose was selected as the NE10 Rookie of the Year following an impressive freshman campaign. He finished with 25 goals and 13 NE10 assists in 10 conference games. He posted 38 points to go along with 19 ground balls and four caused turnover in NE10 play. Gibson is the first Saint Rose player to earn Rookie of the Year.
