Jean broke a 1-1 tie in the 77th minute of play with his first goal of the game. After Assumption tied the game with eight minutes to play, it looked as if they would steal a point and sneak out of town with a tie. Jean converted on a loose ball off a corner in front of the Greyhounds goal with 17 seconds remaining to give Southern the win at home.
