NE10 Player of the Week

Bas van Biezen, Southern New Hampshire

van Biezen went 3-0 at No. 1 singles and doubles and only dropped a single game during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. van Biezen was a 6-1, 6-0 winner against Christian Duffy in a 5-0 win against Stonehill on Thursday and then blanked Daniel Weitz, 6-0, 6-0, in a 6-1 triumph over Bentley on Saturday. van Biezen and his brother Willem shut out Weitz and Max Bonte, 6-0, while their doubles match against Stonehill never started.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Sam Goddard, Southern New Hampshire
Freshman | Amherst, N.H.

Goddard went 2-1, including 2-0 in singles play, as the Penmen went 2-0 last week. Goddard pulled out a 7-5, 5-7, 10-7 victory against Vincent Huynh at No. 4 singles in a 5-0 win versus Stonehill on Thursday and then took down Gabe Horowitz, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 5 singles, in Saturday's 6-1 triumph over Bentley.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Jared Howard, Le Moyne (Sr. - Malmesbury, South Africa)
Howard won in straight sets at first singles and teamed on a doubles victory as the Dolphins blanked Adelphi, 7-0, on Tuesday.

Josh Weiss, Saint Michael's (So. - Pittsford, N.Y.)
Weiss went 3-1 against a pair of regionally-ranked squads last week, finishing 2-0 at No. 1 doubles and 1-1 in the No. 1 singles spot. During a 5-2 loss versus Stonehill on Tuesday, Weiss won 6-2 in doubles and 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) during singles. In a 6-1 setback at Adelphi on Saturday, he won 6-3 in doubles before losing a 6-1, 6-7 (4-7), 6-4 contest in singles play.

Willem van Biezen, Southern New Hampshire (Gr. - Sassenheim, Netherlands)
van Biezen went 3-0, including 2-0 at No. 2 singles during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. van Biezen defeated Russell White, 6-0, 6-1, in a 5-0 win against Stonehill on Thursday and then took down Connor Aulson, 6-0, 6-2, in a 6-1 triumph over Bentley on Saturday. van Biezen and his brother Bas shut out Daniel Weitz and Max Bonte, 6-0, while their doubles match against Stonehill never started.

Russell White, Stonehill (Sr. - Toronto, Ontario)
Posted a combined 2-1 record in singles and doubles play in a 1-1 week for the regionally-ranked Skyhawks. He led three double-winners in Stonehill's first win of the spring at Saint Michael's on Tuesday, with victories at No. 2 singles and doubles. White and sophomore Luke Nickerson provided the doubles clinching point with their 6-0 win at No. 2, and then White drew Stonehill within a point of the match win with his 6-1, 7-6 (8-6) triumph at No. 2 singles against sophomore Jason Boucher.
