Dolphins Enter Spring Season as League Favorite.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – For the second-straight season, Le Moyne has been tabbed first in the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
The Dolphins, two-time reigning NE10 champions under head coach Jeff Lonczak, have not lost a regular season conference match since April 14, 2019 (17-0 in last 17 matches). During the 2022 season, Le Moyne won a remarkable 22-straight matches – including a trip to the NCAA Division II Championship.
Le Moyne received 34 points and four first-place votes to take the top spot in the Coaches' Poll, edging Southern New Hampshire which took second with 31 points and two first-place tallies. The Penmen finished as the NE10 finalist in 2022 with a narrow 4-3 loss to the Dolphins in the Championship match.
Adelphi – an NE10 semifinalist in each of the past two years - grabbed third place with 28 points and the final first-place vote, followed by Saint Michael's (17 points), Franklin Pierce (16 points), Bentley (14 points) and Assumption (7 points).
