Baseball Academic All-District Selections | Softball Academic All-District Selections
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Six baseball and six softball players from six different Northeast-10 schools were recently named CoSIDA Academic All-District for their success on the field and in the classroom, as announced by CoSIDA on Thursday afternoon.
Southern New Hampshire and Adelphi both had a pair of softball players honored. Pitcher Maddy Barone and outfielder Jordan Wade represented the Penmen while pitcher Ally Muller and infielder Emily Whitman represented the Panthers. Bentley outfielder Stacey Korotsky and Saint Michael's designated player Torie Rathwell rounded out the NE10 selections.
Bentley had a pair of baseball outfielders honored in Luke Figueira and Max Troiani. Adelphi pitcher Tom Ambrosino and Franklin Pierce pitcher Derek Duffy were both selected, while SNHU infielder Joshua Goldstein and Stonehill infielder Aidan Wilde rounded out the honorees.
The 2020 Academic All-District Teams, selected by CoSIDA membership, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America program recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
First Team Academic All-District honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot, with first, second and third team Academic All-America honorees announced in early June.
