NE10 Player of the Week

Jordan Krause, Bentley
Sophomore | Outfield | San Pedro, Calif.

While helping Bentley to a 5-1 record down in Myrtle Beach, Krause had a spectacular slash line of .619/.680/905 with her 13 hits including four doubles and a triple. She scored 12 runs and had six RBI. Krause, who leads the conference in batting, hits, total bases, on base, slugging, doubles and runs, had a trio of three-hit games and scored multiple runs in five of the six contests.

NE10 Pitcher of the Week

Lindsey Hibbs, Adelphi
Junior | Pitcher | Brampton, Ontario

Wasted no time making an impact off her All-America season with a career-high 15-strikeout performance and a complete-game shutout in a 4-0 win over #17 Kutztown on Opening Day. Followed up the next day with nine more punchouts at Francis Marion and a 0.57 ERA on the week.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Gianna LaSpina, Southern N.H.
Freshman | INF | Parsippany, N.J.

Freshman LaSpina sarted and plaing in her first five games for the Penmen in N. Myrtle Beach. She went 5-for-14 with a pair of RBI and one run scored - both RBI came in close 3-1 and 3-2 wins for the Penmen.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Faith Camilleri, Adelphi (Jr., 1B - Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.)
Led #9 Adelphi in the team's opening weekend with a .429 average (6-for-14). The team played in a round-robin tournament against #17 Kutztown and Francis Marion, which entered play with a 7-1 record. Went 3-for-4 and drove in the game-winning eighth-inning run in a 2-1 victory at Francis Marion (Feb. 18). Also doubled in both of the team's prevailing efforts over FMU (Feb. 18) and Kutztown (Feb. 19).

Dahlia Fink, Bentley (So., P - Sherman Oaks, Calif.)
During the opening weekend, Fink was 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA with regional wins over Felician, Mercy and Bloomfield. She threw a three-hit shutout against Mercy and defeated Bloomfield, 5-1. The opponents were limited to a .226 average and Fink also had two hits and two runs scored in four at bats.

Haley Bigwood, Franklin Pierce (Jr., INF - Athol, Mass.)
Bigwood led the Raven offense through their introductory week to the 2023 spring, as the team finished 3-1. Down the stretch, the Raven junior batted .333 with one home run, three doubles and eight RBIs to go along with a .833 slugging percentage, and a .375 on-base percentage. While on base herself, Bigwood also threw in a pair of stolen bases, and crossed home plate a total of three times.

Ava Caputo, Saint Anselm (So, 2B/OF - Waterford, N.Y.)
Caputo led Saint Anselm to a 5-1 record, beginning the season with seven runs driven in and nine hits, including four for extra bases, in just 20 at-bats. She collected three multiple-hit games for the Hawks, posting a three-for-four performance against Molloy on Saturday, and struck out only once in that span. Caputo posted at least one run driven in in five of her six games played.

Haile Hicks, Saint Anselm (Jr., P - Jefferson, N.H.)
Hicks posted a perfect 3-0 record this past week for the Hawks, conceding just three earned runs in 21 innings of work. Striking out 23 batters in that span, she fired three complete games and fanned 10 batters against Mercy on Sunday. She also struck out eight batters in a one-hitter to open the season against Bloomfield.

Alyssa DiMauro, Southern N.H. (Jr., INF - Chester, N.H.)
DiMauro opened her season going 5-for-15 in the five Penmen games in South Carolina. Drove in two runs in the first inning of the second game of Saturday's doubleheader after going 2-for-3 in the opener. Drove in two more runs on Sunday to rally SNHU to a 5-5 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning, but the Penmen lost 8-5 in eight to Feliciian.

Leine McKechnie, Southern N.H. (Jr, P - Passadumkeag, Maine)
Leine McKechnie worked in all five games of the South Carolina trip, picking up a win and two saves as the Penmen went 3-2. In 17.2 IP, she allowed 4 ER (1.58 ERA), and struck out 12.
