Five Swim Programs Honored by CSCAA
MANSFIELD, Mass. – Five Northeast-10 men's and women's swimming & diving programs were named to the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for their success in the classroom during the fall semester.
On the women's side, five different schools were honored after posting a GPA over 3.0. Assumption, Bentley, Saint Michael's, Saint Rose and Stonehill were all honored while Bentley and Saint Rose were the men's teams to be named to the Scholar All-America Team.
The Stonehill women's team posted the highest team GPA of all the NE10 schools honored with a 3.72 GPA, while Saint Michael's was second with 3.66 and Bentley was third with a 3.65. Assumption followed with a 3.31 while Saint Rose had a 3.26. The Bentley men posted a 3.55 GPA while the Saint Rose men had a 3.21 GPA.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
