NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Brian Klotsche, Adelphi
Graduate Student | Wantagh, N.Y.

Brian Klotsche topped the field in both the 100 and 200 backstroke while swimming the first leg of the men's 200 yard medley relay, in addition to a 54.11 time in the 100 butterfly event. He was joined by Singer, Rivers and anchor leg Dalrymple to finish in a time of 1:39.13. All individual finishes were lifetime best swims by the graduate student as the Adelphi men defeated Pace.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Dariana Gonzales, Bentley
Senior | Stamford, Conn.

In dual competition against Le Moyne and Saint Rose, Gonzales won three individual races and helped Bentley to first place showings in three relays. At Le Moyne, she swam the 100 backstroke in an NE10-best 1:01.39, won the 200 back in 2:13.60 and was part of the Falcons' 400 medley relay team that finished in a conference-best 4:06.36. Against the Golden Knights, she won the 100 freestyle in 55.34 and helped the Falcons take first in the 200 medley relay (1:55.05) and the 400 free relay (3:47.16). The latter was her third conference-best of the weekend.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Jeremy Glick, Bentley
Graduate Student | South Windsor, Conn.

Glick swept the diving against Saint Rose, with scores of 244.50 for six dives and 165.90 for five. A day earlier, he was second in both at Le Moyne, turning in scores of 248.15 and 168.90.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Hilla Almog, Bentley
Sophmore | Wayland, Mass.

Almog met the NCAA Division II qualifying mark with a 428.50 one-meter, 11-dive score at Le Moyne while placing first in the six-dive competition and second in the five-dive. She also won both competitions at Saint Rose with a combined score of 407.95.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

Leighton Wielgoszinski, Bentley
Freshman | Madison, Ind.

At Saint Rose, Wielgoszinski swam to victory in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:35.38) and was part of the Falcons' 400 free relay team that took first in 3:22.89. Against Le Moyne, he was second in the 200 butterfly (2:08.36), third in the 500 freestyle (5:04.91) and third in the 200 free relay (1:34.55).


NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Morgan Kingsley, Bentley
Freshman | Cazenovia, N.Y.

Kingsley won four individual races during the weekend, including the 100 yard breaststroke against both Le Moyne (1:10.05) and Saint Rose (1:11.67). She was also the winner in the 200 breast against the Dolphins, finishing in 2:32.93, and the 200 individual medley (2:21.70) against the Golden Knights. Kingsley was also part of Bentley's winning 400 medley relay against Le Moyne, with the time of 4:06.36 an NE10 best, and was second in the 200 medley relay (1:56.47) against Saint Rose.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Adelphi
Brian Klotsche, Connor Singer, Cooper Rivers, and Daniel Dalrymple helped the Adelphi men defeat Pace in dual meet action last week, which included their top time in the 200 medley relay, which they finished in 1:39.13.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

400 Medley Relay, Bentley
Bentley turned in the conference's best 400 medley relay time of the season at Le Moyne, 4:06.36. Senior Dariana Gonzales anchored after freshmen Taylor White, Morgan Kingsley and Caroline Ubert swam the first three legs.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Skyler Nenadich, Adelphi (Sr. - Bayside, N.Y.)
Skyler Nenadich posted a score of 243.82 off the three-meter board in a meet at Pace, nearly 20 points higher than the next diver - She also placed second in the one-meter event, with a score of 208.94.

Cooper Rivers, Adelphi (So. - Lake Elsinore, Calif.)
Rivers took gold in the 400 IM, 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly against Pace, and swam a leg in the Panthers' impressive 1:39.13 200-yard medley relay.

Katie Dzambo, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Windermere, Fla.)
Freshman Katie Dzambo won once while earning three runner-up finishes on Saturday at Keene State, including another near victory. Dzambo took the 100 freestyle (58.39) while placing second in the 200 freestyle (2:03.76), trailing the winner by just 0.03 seconds. She was also runner-up in the 100 butterfly (1:07.04) while aiding the second-place 400 freestyle relay (3:58.45), swimming the fastest 100 freestyle leg (58.28) on the team.

Thomas Kane, Saint Michael's (So. - Sparta, N.J.)
Sophomore Thomas Kane won four times on Saturday during a 178-110 win at Keene State. Kane took the 100 breaststroke (1:03.36) by 5.21 seconds and the 100 butterfly (54.96) while leading off for the top 400 freestyle relay (3:22.96). In the 400 medley relay, Kane helped the quartet win (3:49.66) behind swimming the fastest 100 breaststroke leg (1:04.36) in the event.

Connor Quirbach, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Lowell, Mass.)
Freshman Connor Quirbach won four times on Saturday in a 178-110 victory at Keene State. He captured the 100 backstroke (56.89) and 100 freestyle (50.20) races while helping the 400 medley relay (3:49.66) to victory thanks to swimming the fastest 100 backstroke leadoff leg (57.14). During the 400 freestyle relay, Quirbach aided a victory (3:22.96) while completing the fastest 100 freestyle leg (49.99) in the event.

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne (So.  - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He swept the two one-meter diving events in Le Moyne's setback to Bentley on Saturday. He tallied 183.70 points to win the first and won the second event with 292.60 points.
