NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Cooper Rivers, Adelphi
Sophomore | Lake Elsinore, Calif.

Cooper Rivers continued his winning ways at the dual meet against SUNY New Paltz, with three individual titles in the 200 freestyle, backstroke and individual medley. His 200 free time of 1:45.94 is just .25 seconds off the best time in the NE10 this season, as he posted a 2:02.47 finish in the backstroke and a near season best in the 200 IM at 1:59.65. He swam the anchor leg in the 200 freestyle relay (1:31.50) to secure a commanding victory over the Hawks.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Dariana Gonzales, Bentley
Senior | Stamford, Conn.

In a 152-110 win over Assumption, Gonzales finished first in both the 200 yard freestyle (1:56.49) and the 50 free (25.11), was part of the Falcons? winning 200 free relay team (1:41.56) and placed second in the 200 backstroke (2:11.34). Her time in the 50 free was the second best in the NE10 this season.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne
Sophomore | Syracuse, N.Y.

He won the one-meter diving event with a pool-record score of 413.55 in Saturday's 190-78 victory at Roberts Wesleyan.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Nicholle Denault, Southern Conn.
Sophmore | West Hartford, Conn.

Against UConn, Nicholle Denault won the 1-Meter event with a score of 170.70 and the 3-Meter event with a score of 137.25.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

Keegan Stafford, Le Moyne
Freshman | Charlton, N.Y.

Stafford won two individual events and teamed on two relay victories in Le Moyne's 190-78 victory on Saturday at Roberts Wesleyan. Individually, he was victorious in the 200-yard butterfly by over 25 seconds with a mark of 2:09.02. He later won the 500-yard freestyle by over 34 seconds with a time of 5:02.10. He anchored the meet-opening 200-yard medley relay, which registered a pool-record time of 1:40.39 to win by over 12 seconds. He swam the second leg of the first-place 800-yard freestyle relay, which won by over 20 seconds with a time of 7:44.04.


NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Caroline Ubert, Bentley
Freshman | Columbus, Ohio

Ubert swept the butterfly events during a 152-110 victory over Assumption, with times of 101:23 in the 100 and 2:17.99 in the 200. She was also part of the Falcons' winning 200 medley relay team that posted a time of 1:51.74.


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Freestyle Relay, Adelphi
Securing a first place finish against New Paltz was the men's 200 freestyle relay with Brian Klotsche, Timothy Yeung, Daniel Dalrymple and Cooper Rivers as they raced to a time of 1:31.50.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Bentley
Bentley's 200 medley relay team of freshman Taylor White, junior Emily Blatt, freshman Caroline Ubert and senior Kate Galvin won by 1.42 seconds with a 1:51.74. The Falcons won all four legs by a slim margin with their time 0.60 seconds off the conference season-best.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Mary Huminski, Bentley (Sr. - Madison, Conn.)
The two-time Northeast-10 Women's Diver of the Year totaled 472.65 points for 11 dives off the one-meter board against Assumption. She finished first in the six dives and was a close second to teammate Hilla Almog in the five dive. Her score met the standard for the NCAA Division II prequalification meet.

Brenna Horan, Le Moyne (So. - Bayport, N.Y.)
She won two individual events and teamed on a relay victory in Le Moyne's 165.5-103.5 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday. She topped the field in the 100-yard breaststroke by over four seconds with a time of 1:14.85. She won the final individual event of the afternoon, the 400-yard IM, by almost 30 seconds with a pool-record mark of 5:00.55. She anchored the 800-yard freestyle relay team, which won by over 32 seconds with a time of 8:35.28 to close out the meet.

William Sullivan, Saint Michael's (Sr. - Arlington, Va.)
Senior William Sullivan won three events and took a runner-up finish in his fourth race during a victory at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday. Sullivan won the 100 freestyle (51.14) and aided wins in the 200 freestyle relay (1:33.25) and 200 medley relay (1:46.92). During the 100 butterfly, he took second in 55.91, just 0.29 seconds shy of the winner.

Margaret Wilk, Saint Michael's (So. - Hardyston, N.J.)
Sophomore Margaret Wilk won four times and added three runner-up finishes to place among the top two in all seven of her events last week. Against Division I Merrimack on Friday, she was second in the 100 freestyle (56.84), losing by just 0.22 seconds while posting the ninth-best time in the NE10 this season. She anchored the runner-up 200 medley relay (2:02.30) and 200 freestyle relay (1:47.75), with the latter notching the seventh-fastest showing in the league this season. During that 200 freestyle relay, Wilk entered the water for the anchor leg with her team down by 1.2 seconds; the quartet lost the race by only 0.37 seconds, as Wilk's 25.69-second leg was the fastest in the race. On Saturday at Colby-Sawyer, she won the 100 freestyle (58.27), 500 freestyle (5:49.76) and 1,000 freestyle (11:57.86) while anchoring the top 200 freestyle relay (1:51.08).
