NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Belal Aly, Le Moyne
Sophomore | Syracuse, N.Y.

Aly recorded three top-15 finishes individually and was part of four top-five relay finishes at the three-day Bomber Invitational. He won the 200-yard freestyle by 0.59 seconds by touching the wall first in a season-best time of 1:43.36. He opened the invitational by placing 13th in the 500-yard freestyle in a season-best 4:52.28. He registered a seven-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in a season-best 47.24 seconds. He led off the fourth-place 200-yard freestyle relay, swam the second leg of the fourth-place 400-yard freestyle relay, anchored the fifth-place 200-yard medley relay and swam the second leg of the fifth-place 800-yard freestyle relay.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Emma Hapkiewicz, Bentley 
Junior | South Windsor, Conn.

During the Gompei Invitational at WPI, Hapkiewicz posted the Northeast-10's fastest times of the season in the 500 freestyle (5:08.53), the 1650 free (17:38.90), the 400 free relay (3:37.37) and the 800 free relay (8:00.87), as well as the second best 200 free relay (1:40.18) and fourth best 200 free (1:59.08) times. She finished fourth in the 1650 free, fifth in the 500 free, 800 free relay and 400 free relay, eighth in the 200 free relay, 17th in the 200 free and 24th in the 100 back.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Jeremy Glick, Bentley
Graduate Student | South Windsor, Conn.

At the Gompei Invitational at WPI, Glick was sixth in the one-meter diving (367.10), eighth in the three-meter diving (296.40) and eighth in the synchronized diving. His three-meter score was an NE10 season best for 11 dives and his one-meter score ranked second in the conference to date.


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Hilla Almog, Bentley
Sophomore | Wayland, Mass.

Almog swept the women's diving during the Gompei Invitational at WPI with both her scores NE10 season-bests for 11 dives. She captured the one-meter by 22.70 points with a 371.55 and the three-meter by 0.85 points with a 366.75.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

Connor Singer, Adelphi
Freshman |Staten Island, N.Y.

Connor Singer impressed in the lanes this weekend at the ECAC Winter Championships, putting together new program records in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke races. In each outing he improved, breaking both records in his prelim attempts while swimming faster in the finals. In the 100 breast, he clocked in at 57.11 and the in 200, was responsible for a 2:06.32 finish, posting the best times in the NE10 this season. He also swam a leg of the 200 medley relay (1:35.58) and 400 medley relay (3:28.52) that put up top finishes in the conference over the weekend. 


NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Morgan Kingsley, Bentley
Freshman | Cazenovia, N.Y.

In the Gompei Invitational at WPI, Kingsley moved to number one on the Northeast-10 performance list in the 200 breaststroke (2:28.14), the 100 individual medley (1:02.68) and the 400 medley relay (4:03.04), and to second in both the 100 breast (1:07.73) and the 200 medley relay (1:51.10). Her highest finish was a fourth in the 100 IM. She was also fifth in the 100 breast, sixth in the 200 breast, eighth in the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay, tenth in the 200 mixed medley relay (1:44.31), 15th in the 200 free relay, 19th in the 200 mixed free relay (1:36.98), 28th in the 400 free relay (3:53.22) and 31st in the 50 free (28.06).


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

400 Medley Relay, Adelphi
The quartet of Brian Klotsche, Connor Singer, Cooper Rivers and Daniel Dalrymple set two new program records over the weekend in both the 200 and 400 medley relays. Their 400 finish of 3:28.52 was better by over three seconds than the 2019 record and was the fastest finish in the NE10 this season. 


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Yard Freestly Relay, Le Moyne
The team of senior Caitlyn Longway, redshirt sophomore Lily Buchholz, senior Genevieve Kikukawa and redshirt sophomore MaryLauren Burke opened Saturday morning's competition of the three-day Bomber Invitational by tying for third place in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a season-best time of 1:39.25.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Delaney Noel, Adelphi (So. - Dubuque, IA)
Delaney Noel put up four different personal bests over the weekend at the ECAC Winter Championships, all in varying distances of freestyle. Her 1650 race clocked in at 18:32.91 which lands in the top five this season in the specialty. She also completed the 200 in 2:05.15 and the 500 in 5:30.55.

Cooper Rivers, Adelphi (So. - Lake Elsinore, Calif.)
Cooper Rivers entered five different individual events (and assisted in the medley relays) over the weekend at the ECAC Winter Championships, making the finals in each while erasing the program record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:07.85. He posted a personal best in both the prelim and the finals of that event, and two season bests in the 200 IM, ultimately clocking in at 1:53.79 in the finals race. Hi 50 freestyle time of 21.47 is .29 off the Adelphi record and a new personal best as well.

Sophia Lumino, Assumption (Sr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Lumino had three top-16 finishes at the Maine Collegiate Winter Invite this past weekend. She took 8th overall in the 50 yd Breaststroke (31.32) before finishing 16th in the 100 yd Breaststroke (1:09.67). Lumino was the second leg of the 200 yd Medley Relay team who finished 12th (1:53.9)

Riley Brennen, Le Moyne (Fr. - New Hartford, N.Y.)
She placed 13th in the three-meter diving event with a career-best 296.55 points and finished 14th in the one-meter diving event with a career-best 343.45 points at the three-day Bomber Invitational.

Lily Buchholz, Le Moyne (R-So. - Skaneateles, N.Y.)
She recorded three top-15 finishes individually and was part of three top-six relay finishes at the three-day Bomber Invitational. She opened the invitational by placing fourth in the 500-yard freestyle in a career-best 5:15.79. She then placed 13th in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.89 seconds, the fastest time in her collegiate career. She capped the weekend by placing 10th in the 100-yard freestyle in a collegiate-best 54.42 seconds. She swam the second leg of the third-place 200-yard freestyle relay and the sixth-place 800-yard freestyle relay and led off the fifth-place 400-yard freestyle relay.

Tanner Eisenhut, Bentley (Sr. - Jamesville, N.Y.)
During WPI's Gompei Invitational, Eisenhut finished first in both the 200 breaststroke (2:06.33) and the 100 breast (57.30) while breaking the school record with a third-place finish in the 100 individual medley (52.54 finals, 52.28 prelims). He also was second in the 400 mixed free relay (3:25.25), fourth in the 200 IM (1:55.10), fifth in both the 800 free relay (7:07.44) and the 400 free relay (3:11.44), sixth in the 400 medley relay (3:30.79), seventh in the 200 medley relay (1:35.55), ninth in the 200 free relay (1:28.12) and 13th in the 200 mixed medley relay (1:45.19). His times in the 100 IM, the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay were Northeast-10 season bests, and he moved to second on the NE10 performance list in the 200 IM, 200 breast, 100 breast and 400 medley relay.

James Henriques, Saint Rose (So. - Middletown, N.Y.)
At Saturday's CSI Invitational, Henriques dashed to first place in the 50 free (21.51 seconds) and 100 free (47.55), while also earning runner-up in the 100 butterfly (52.00). Henriques' mark in the 50 free lists as the fourth-fastest in the NE10 this season, while his 100 free time stands fifth best. Additionally, his performance in the 100 fly ranks second-fastest in the conference this year.

Mia Stroub, Saint Rose (So. - Babylon, N.Y.)
Stroub lead the Saint Rose women to a first-place team finish in Saturday's CSI Invitational with a pair of individual victories. Stroub took the 100-yard butterfly in 1:01.16 and 200 backstroke in 2:14.48, in addition to finishing runner-up in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:18.50. Stroub also swam the opening leg of the winning 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley, and 400 medley relay teams.

Katie Dzambo, Saint Michael's (Fr. - Windermere, Fla.)
Freshman Katie Dzambo won twice while posting four top-two showings in a victory over Norwich on Saturday. She took the 500 freestyle (5:55.87) and led off for the top 400 freestyle relay (3:57.97), and was second in the 200 freestyle (2:10.64) and anchored the runner-up 200 medley relay (2:03.26).

Thomas Kane, Saint Michael's (So. - Sparta, N.J.)
Sophomore Thomas Kane recorded two wins among four top-two showings against Norwich on Saturday. Kane won the 100 butterfly (54.91) and helped the 400 freestyle relay (3:20.18) to victory. He took second in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.89) and swam for the runner-up 200 medley relay (1:41.95).
