NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week
McAllistar Milne, Southern Conn. St.
Sophomore | Glastonbury, Conn.
Against NCAA Division I Yale, McAllistar Milne won the 500 Yard Freestyle event with a time of 4:40.13 and finished second in the 400 Yard Individual Medley (4:01.28) and 100 Yard Breaststroke (58.66). Against Pace, Milne was 2-for-2, winning the 50 Free with a time of 22.26 and the 200 Back with a time of 1:56.45, with stands as the top time in the NE10 this season. He was also part of the 200 Medley Relay team that posted a time of 1:35.23 for first place.
NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week
Faith Littleton, Southern Conn. St.
Junior | Jackson, Mo.
Against Pace, Faith Littleton took the top spot in the 1,000 Free with a time of 11:04.10 and also posted the top time in the 500 Free at 5:16.63. Littleton's times in the 500 and 1,000 Free are both the fourth-fastest time in the NE10 this season.
NE10 Men's Diver of the Week
Matheus Silva, Southern Conn. St.
Sophomore | Stratford, Conn.
Against Yale, Matheus Silva led Southern in the 1 Meter Diving event with a score of 237.23 for third place. Against Pace, he won the 1 Meter Diving event with a score of 258.35 and also won the 3 Meter Diving event with a score of 234.30.
NE10 Women's Diver of the Week
Mary Huminski, Bentley
Senior | Madison, Conn.
In the Pace Diving Invitational, the two-time Northeast-10 Women?s Diver of the Year finished second off the one-meter board, 6.25 points back of teammate Hilla Almog with a 219.85, and third off the three-meter with 210.60 points.
NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week
Samir Souidi, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | Lynbrook, N.Y.
Against Yale, Samir Souidi finished third in the 200 Back with a time of 2:11.60 and fourth in the 200 Fly with a time of 2:15.26. Against Pace, he won the 1000 Free with a time of 10:19.55, which stands as the fifth-best time in the conference this season.
NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week
Paolo Castillo, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | San Diego, Calif.
Against Pace, Paola Castillo won the 200 Free with the second-fastest time in the NE10 this season, finishing in 1:57.96. She then finished second in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:36.75, which is the 11th fastest in the conference this season. Against Yale, Castillo won the 200 Fly with a time of 2:07.85 and finished third in the 400 IM with a time of 4:44.19. She finished the day with a third place finish in the 500 Free with a time of 5:15.34.
NE10 Men's Relay of the Week
200 Medley Relay, Southern Conn. St.
Against Pace, the 200 Yard Medley Relay team of Chandler Tucker, McAllistar Milne, Henry Velazquez and Franklin Kuhn won with a time of 1:35.23.
NE10 Women's Relay of the Week
200 Medley Relay, Southern Conn. St.
The 200 Medley Relay team comprised of Ella Marzec, Lindsay McCawley, Hailey Nyquist and Kali Dominguez got the Owls on the board against Pace with a win in the first event of the afternoon. The "A" relay team posted a time of 1:56.02.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Cooper Rivers, Adelphi (So. - Lake Elsinore, Calif.)
Cooper Rivers put up the fourth best time in the 100 IM this weekend, in dual meet action against Queensborough Community College. He clocked in at 55.04 which is less than a second off his personal best in the event.
Nicholle Denault, Southern Conn. St. (So. - West Hartford, Conn.)
Against Yale, Nicholle Denault totaled 201.90 in the 3 Meter Diving event. Against Pace, Denault finished second in the 1 Meter Diving event with a score of 209.60 and second in the 3 Meter Diving event with a score of 196.25.
Chandler Tucker, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Bellmore, N.Y.)
Against Yale, Chandler Tucker had three, top-three finishes. He was second in the 100 Back with a time of 52.00 and the 200 IM with a season-best time of 1:56.56 and then finished third in the 50 Free with a time of 22.39. Against Pace, Tucker swam the fastest time in the NE10 in the 50 Back with a 23.99. He followed with a 2:11.45 in the 200 Breaststroke for the fourth-fastest time in the NE10. He also posted a 47.29 in the 100 Free for the third fastest time of the year in the conference. He was also part of the 200 Medley Relay team that posted a 1:35.23, which was seven seconds faster than the second-place team.
