NE10 Men's Swimmer of the Week

Ryan Looney, Bentley
Senior | Ellington, Conn.

In dual meets against Babson and Pace, Looney finished first in all four individual events he swam and was part of the Falcons' winning 200 medley relay against the Beavers, with a time of 1:37.47. He captured the 50 freestyle in both meets, posting times of 21.63 against Babson, with a winning margin of a hundredth of a second, and 21.83 against Pace. He also swam the 100 free in 48.31 in the Babson meet and the 200 back in 2:03.51 against the Setters.


NE10 Women's Swimmer of the Week

Emma Hapkiewicz, Bentley
Junior | South Windsor, Conn.

In dual meets against Babson and Pace, Hapkiewicz swept the distance races. She swam the 1000 free in 10:50.69 against Babson and 10:57.11 against Pace, and put up winning times of 5:15.45 and 5:15.94 in the 500. Hapkiewicz, the reigning NE10 champion in the 1000 and 1650, was also part of Bentley's 200 free relay team against Babson, which placed first in 1:44.49.


NE10 Men's Diver of the Week

Jeremy Glick, Bentley
Graduate Student | South Windsor, Conn.

During a 2-0 week, Glick won three of four diving competitions and posted the Northeast-10's third best six-dive scores of the season off both boards. He swept against Babson, with scores of 271.03 from the one-meter and 223.25 from the three-meter. Against Pace, he was first in the three-meter competition (256.34) and second in the one-meter (284.77).


NE10 Women's Diver of the Week

Mary Huminski, Bentley
Senior | Madison, Conn.

Humanski recorded the Northeast-10?s second-best three-meter score of the season against Pace, 278.47, and also was a close second in the one-meter (280.49). The two-time conference Women's Diver of the Year also competed in the one-meter against Babson and finished first with a 229.20.


NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week

Connor Quirbach, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Lowell, Mass.

Freshman Connor Quirbach went 6-for-6 during a pair of victories over the weekend while breaking a program record with 31 total triumphs this season. In a 128.5-99.5 win against NE10 foe Saint Rose on Saturday, he won the 200 freestyle (1:57.47) and 500 freestyle (5:04.65), the latter by 12.6 seconds, while aiding the top 200 freestyle relay (1:32.94). During a 177-28 win against Saint Lawrence on Sunday, he topped the 50 freestyle field (22.71) while swimming for the winning 200 freestyle (1:33.76) and 200 medley (1:43.58) quartets, leading off in the medley. Saint Michael's tied a school record for season dual meet victories with the win against Saint Lawrence.


NE10 Women's Rookie of the Week

Ashley Silveira, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Seekonk, Mass.

Freshman Ashley Silveira won three times on the boards while narrowly missing a fourth win over the weekend. In a 151-82 win over NE10 foe Saint Rose on Saturday, she took the opening one-meter diving event (120.10) before taking second in the second round of 1M diving (156.20), falling short of the winner by 4.95 points. On Sunday against Saint Lawrence, Silveira won both 1M diving events (118.05, 146.55).


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Bentley
Against Babson, sophomores Calvin Ye and Kenneth Ryu teamed with seniors Anthony Vizental and Ryan Looney to take first in the 200 medley relay in 1:37.47.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

200 Medley Relay, Le Moyne
The quartet of senior Genevieve Kikukawa, sophomore Ella Kaback, freshman Brooke Sommo and senior Caitlyn Longway opened the women's portion of the meet against Southern Connecticut State on Thursday by placing first in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:53.43.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Sophia Lumino, Assumption (Sr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Lumino won all three races that she was a part of, as Assumption picked up a 110-76 win over Merrimack on Senior Day. She started the day with a first-place finish in the 200m Medley Relay, as she anchored the third leg. In the 200m IM, Lumino won the race by finishing 13 seconds before the next finisher. She wrapped up her day with the top spot in the 100m Breaststroke, as she clocked in 3.66 seconds before her competition.

Justin Byrne, Le Moyne (So. - Syracuse, N.Y.)
He won both one-meter diving events on Thursday against Southern Connecticut State. He won the first one-meter diving event with a score of 181.75. He later tallied 289.45 points to win the second one-meter diving event. He registered 444.68 points to place second in the one-meter diving event on Saturday at Cortland and scored 391.95 points off the three-meter board to place third.

Liam Burke, Saint Michael's (Sr. - Scotia, N.Y.)
Senior Liam Burke won all four of his events over the weekend to tie a program record with 11 diving victories this season. He swept the one-meter diving events (127.55, 176.85) in a 128.5-99.5 win on Saturday against NE10 foe Saint Rose before winning twice more (122.45, 171.75) on Sunday in a 177-28 victory over Saint Lawrence. Saint Michael's tied a school record for season dual meet victories with the win against Saint Lawrence.

Margaret Wilk, Saint Michael's (So. - Hardyston, N.J.)
Sophomore Margaret Wilk won four times among six top-three finishes over the weekend. On Saturday in a 151-82 win over NE10 foe Saint Rose, she won the 50 freestyle (26.14) while anchoring the top 200 freestyle (1:48.80) and 200 medley (1:58.22) relays. After entering the pool with her 200 medley squad trailing by 0.07 seconds, Wilk turned in a 50 freestyle leg of 25.61 to help the Purple Knights win by 0.26 seconds. On Sunday against Saint Lawrence, Wilk topped the 400 individual medley field (5:02.40), anchored the second-place 200 freestyle relay team (1:46.29), and placed third in the 50 freestyle (27.20).

James Henriques, Saint Rose (So. - Middletown, N.Y.)
In Saturday's dual meet at Saint Michael's, Henriques touched the wall first in both the 50-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly with respective times of 21.81 and 53.70 seconds. He also helped the Golden Knights win the 200 medley relay in 1:39.42.

Mia Stroub, Saint Rose (So. - Babylon, N.Y.)
Stroub secured victories in both the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.45) and 100 backstroke (1:04.59) in Saturday afternoon's dual meet at Saint Michael's.
