NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Ashley Corcoran, SNHU
Graduate Student | East Longmeadow, Mass.

Ashley Corcoran won the 800m at the Panther Invitational at Plymouth State with a PR of 2:18.00 for the distance, adjusted to 2:16.43 for track size. It's the top 800m in the East Region this season. The prior week at Suffolk she ran an NCAA provisional qualifying time in winning the 3,000m.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Kristen Washington, New Haven
Graduate Student | New Haven, Conn. 

Across two meets this weekend, Washington took top honors three times and finished as the runner-up in a fourth event. She began the weekend winning the triple jump and finishing second in the long jump at the Ramapo College Opener. She followed that up with a pair of first place honors in the same two events at the William Sutherland Invitational, including extending her season-best in the triple jump to 11.76-meters which sets her up with an NCAA Provisional qualification.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Corrina Obernesser, SNHU
Freshman | Westminster, Colo.

Freshman Corrina Obernesser turned in a big effort, running 2nd in the 5,000m at the Panther Invitational at Plymouth State University on Saturday. Her time was 18:58.95 (adjusted to 18:50.30 for track size). That's the top 5,000 in the East Region so far this season.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Gabrielle Teel, New Haven
Freshman | Willow Grove, Pa.

Teel extended her personal best in the triple jump to finish second overall in the event at the William Sutherland Invitational, trailing only her teammate Kristen Washington. Her best attempt in the event went in the books at 11.21-meters. In addition, she also took seventh place in the triple jump two days earlier at the Ramapo College Opener and also competed in the long jump at the Sutherland, taking seventh in that event as well.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Adelphi

The women's 4x400 relay of Katherine Marsh, Nikki Searles, Christina Gayle and Isabel Marsh ran to a fourth place finish at the Ramapo College Opener, finishing behind three Division I squads. Their time of 4:09.45 stands as the third best time in the NE10 after the weekend.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Isabel Marsh, Adelphi (Sr. - East Meadow, N.Y.)
Isabel Marsh ran a three-second PR in the 600m with a time of 1:37.86 to win at the Ramapo College Invite.

Lauren Toland, Adelphi (Jr. - Jamestown, RI)
Lauren Toland won the pole vault event at the William Sutherland Invite at Southern Connecticut this weekend, with a height of 2.80, for a new season best. She bested two other competitors from nearby New Haven and her height now stands as the second best in the NE10 behind a 2.90m jump from a rookie out of Franklin Pierce.

Sarah Enes, Assumption (Sr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Enes picked up the first-place finish in the 800m at the Sutherland Invitational on Sunday. Her time of 2:30.89 was nearly seven seconds faster than the next finisher.

Sarah St. Pierre, Assumption (Sr. - Nashua, N.H.)
St. Pierre won the High Jump at the Sutherland Invitational as her top mark of 1.55m (5'1) topped the field by two inches.

Sophia Bisognano, Le Moyne (R-So. - Albany, N.Y.)
She placed fifth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 19:40.50 on Saturday at the Winter Welcome Back to Brockport Meet.

Daphna Gerber, New Haven (So. - Glenview, Ill.)
Gerber wrapped up the weekend taking first place honors in the 400-meter dash at the William Sutherland Invitational, shaving a second and a half off of her previous personal best in the event, finishing with a time of 1:03.22.

Elsie Kaas, New Haven (Fr. - Elverson, Pa.)
A distance runner for the Chargers, Kaas took home first place honors in the 3,000-meter run at the William Sutherland Invitational this past weekend, setting a personal best time of 12:19.8. She also competed in the mile two days earlier at the Ramapo College Opener.

Mackenzie Glenn, Southern Conn. St. (So. - North Branford, Conn.)
At the William Sutherland Invitational, Mackenzie Glenn finished second in the Long Jump with a distance of 18'1/4" for second place.

Ella MacLean, Southern Conn. St, (So. - Hanover, N.H.)
Ella Maclean won two events at the William Sutherland Invitational, taking the 55 Meter Dash with a time of 7.14 and the 200 Meters with a time of 25.35.

Emma Hallet, Southern New Hampshire (Jr. - Billerica, Mass.)
Junior Emma Hallet scored a pair of wins at the Panther Invitational Saturday at Plymouth State University. She picked up a win in the 60 hurdles at 9.67 seconds, matching her career best. Hallet also took down the long jump at 1.56m, which is third best in the region so far this season. Her busy Saturday also included a new PR in the 60 at 8.54 seconds.
