NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Ella MacLean, Southern Conn. St. 
Sophomore | Hanover, N.H.

At the UMass Lowell River Hawk Invitational, Ella Maclean finished third in the 60 Meter Dash with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 7.64. She also finished sixth in the 60 Meters at the John Thomas Terrier Classic with a time of 7.74. She also finished eight in the 200 Meters at the Terrier Classic with a time of 24.19, which was also a NCAA provisional qualifying time. Maclean was the top Division II runner in each race. She was also part of the 4 x 400 Relay team that won the 17-team race with a time of 3:54.05. The Owls' time was a season-best and the second-fastest women's 4x400 time this season, to date.


NE10 Women's Field Athlete of the Week

Raven-Symone Jarrett, AIC
Junior | New Britain, Conn. 

Jarrett turned in another impressive high jump performance at the River Hawk Invitational, taking second with a 1.70 meter jump. That height leads not just the NE10, but the entire East Region for the season. She additionally ran 8.88 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, which ranks second in the NE10 this season.


NE10 Women's Track Rookie of the Week

Corrina Obernesser, SNHU
Freshman | Westminster, Colo.

Corrina Obernesser ran a 5:25.54 mile at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday. It was the second mile by an NE10 freshman so far this season.


NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week

Nouhayla Errahili, Franklin Pierce
Sophomore | Fez, Morocco

Errahili, in her first season with Pierce indoor, claimed first place in the women's high-jump at the University of Southern Maine Husky Invitational on Saturday, clearing a height of 1.67 meters. The effort, continuing to add on to the already successful weekend, was good for NCAA provisional standards, as the women finished 5th as a team against 12 other competitors.


NE10 Women's Relay of the Week

4x400 Relay, Southern Conn. St.

At the River Hawk Invitational, The Owls' 4 x 400 Relay team of Ella Mclean, Izzy Newbury, Avery Winters and Anna-Sashia Jones won the 17-team race with a time of 3:54.05. The Owls' time was a season-best and the second-fastest women's 4x400 time this season, to date.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Katherine Marsh, Adelphi (Sr. - East Meadow, N.Y.)
Katherine Marsh placed 11th overall in the 800 meter race, clocking in at a new lifetime best 2:11.12 to currently rank fourth across all of NCAA Division II. In addition, the new 800 time stands as a women's record at Adelphi.

Olivia Johnson, Assumption (Sr. - Stratford, Conn.)
Johnson finished 21st in the Women's Triple Jump (10.39m | 34' 1.25"), while also placing 29th in the Women's Long Jump (4.84m | 15' 10.5")

Sarah Enes, Assumption (Sr. - Peabody, Mass.)
Enes finished 21st in the women's 1000m (3:12.94)

Nyjah Young-Bey, Franklin Pierce (Sr. - Montclair, N.J.)
Young-Bey highlighted the Raven women's efforts this past week, hitting NCAA provisional standards at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic in the Women's 400-Meter. Her 56.05 finishing time in the 400-Meter was not only good for provisional standards, but also set a new program record for the single event as she placed 4th (out of 95) overall. In addition, Young-Bey also claimed 10th (out of 136) in the Women's 200-Meter (25.03)

Lilly Capria, Le Moyne (Fr. - North Syracuse, N.Y.)
She recorded a pair of top-two finishes to lead the Dolphins at Utica's Orange and Blue Invitational on Saturday. She placed first in the high jump by clearing the bar at a program-record height of 5-feet, 3.75-inches. She also finished second in the triple jump at 36-feet, 5.5-inches.

Rachel Flelscher, Southern Conn. St. (Sr. - Derby, Conn.)
At the River Hawk Invitational, Rachel Fleischer won the 40-person Triple Jump event with a distance of 11.78m (38' 7 3/4"), which was a NCAA Division II provisional score.

Bennie Alula, Southern New Hampshire, (Gr. - Hartford, Conn.)
Bennie Alula turned in a season-best 14.67m while winning the weight throw at Southern Maine's Husky Invitational Saturday. She placed in the shot put with a new personal best of 11.77m. Both were the second best performances by an NE10 athlete this season.

Ashley Corcoran, Southern New Hampshire (Jr. - Billerica, Mass.)
Ashley Corcoran ran a 4:52.78 mile at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Saturday. Her time was the fastest in the East Region this season and was an NCAA provisional qualifying time. Corcoran just missed her program record for the distance (4:51.44).
