NE10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Jordany Dely, New Haven
Junior | Spring Valley, N.Y.

Jordany had a stellar weekend at the New England Championships, highlighted by taking the crown in the 60-meter hurdles with his lean at the finish giving him a new personal best of 6.13 meters to beat out the field. His time is also a new school record and an NCAA provisional mark. In addition, he picked up a second All-New England honor as a member of the 4x400-meter relay that finished sixth overall.


NE10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Nate Llanos, Southern Conn. St.
Junior | Danbury, Conn.

At the 2023 NEICAAA New England Championships, Nate Llanos won the Pole Vault Championship with a personal-best mark of 4.95m (16' 2 ¾").


NE10 Men's Track Rookie of the Week

Nolan Freeman, Southern Conn. St.
Freshman | New Milford, Conn.

First-year Owl Nolan Freeman earned All-New England in two events. Freeman finished eighth in the 60 Meter Dash finals with a time of 7.05 and was also part of the 4x400 Relay team that finished second with a time of 3:18.33.


NE10 Men's Field Rookie of the Week

Yoofi Abaka-Amuah, Assumption
Freshman | Worcester, Mass.

Abaka-Amuah continues his historic freshman campaign, as he finished 16th in the weight throw (15.84m | 51' 11.75") before being named All-New England in the shot put (16.92m | 55' 6.25"), as he finished third, and first among non-Division I


NE10 Men's Relay of the Week

Distance Medley Relay, AIC

AIC's distance medley relay once again outpaced the competition, winning the New England Championship with an NE10 and East Region-best time of 9:57.71. They currently rank tenth nationally. The same quartet of runners also finished second in the 4x800-meter relay.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Tre'Sean Bouie, Assumption (Sr. - Philadelphia, Pa.)
A week after hitting the provisional mark in the 400m, Bouie hit another career mark as he finished the 200m (22.18) in 22.18 He also finished ninth in the 400m (49.77)

Worlf Malivert, AIC (Jr. - Somerville, Mass.)
Malivert defended his crown at the New England Championships in the triple jumps in dramatic fashion, winning the event with a 14.61-meter leap on his final jump of the competition. He remains atop the NE10's leaderboard in the event, as his three longest jumps of the season are the top three in the NE10.

Connor Everidge, Franklin Pierce (Sr. - Baldwinville, Mass.)
Connor Everidge continued to be a driving force for the Raven Men's field side, placing 9th-of-23 competitors at last weeks NEICAAA Championships in the Men's Weight Throw. His top mark in the event (16.61m) set an all-new Franklin Pierce indoor program record.

Stephen Harris, Franklin Pierce (Jr. - Billerica, Mass.)
Harris finished 3rd overall in the Men's 200-Meter Dash at this past week's NEICAAA Championships in Boston, Massachusetts, finishing with a time of 21.55. After already reaching NCAA provisional standards the week prior, Harris did it once more with his recent performance.

Christian Carlin-Saracene, Le Moyne (Sr. - North Syracuse, N.Y.)
He placed eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:03.14 on Saturday at the Brockport Multi.

Nicholas Hafner, Le Moyne (Sr. - Hamburg, N.Y.)
He placed fourth in the heptathlon on Friday and Saturday at the Brockport Multi with 3941 points, the third-highest mark in the NE10 this year.

Kenneth Holland, New Haven (Jr. - Circleville, N.Y.)
Holland earned a pair of All-New England honors at this past weekend's New England Championships held at the Track at New Balance. Both of his All-New England honors came in the jumps where he posted an eighth place finish in the long jump on Thursday with a distance of 6.63 meters and followed that up on Friday in the triple jump with a leap of 13.62 meters, also taking home eighth place.

Reese Casinelli, Saint Rose (So. - Lockport, N.Y.)
Casinelli led the Golden Knights with a runner-up effort in the 400-meter (49.86 seconds), followed by a sixth-place finish in the 200m (22.58 seconds) at the NYU Invitational on Friday night. For Casinelli, his respective marks in the 400m and 200m each rank as the fastest times in his career and respectively list as the third and fifth all-time best marks in Saint Rose program history. Casinelli also competed in Saturday's Pioneer Fast Track Invite at Utica College, where he crossed the line in 23.04 seconds to take third place in the 200m dash.

Jonathan Volpe, Southern Conn. St. (So. - Naugatuck, Conn.)
Jonathan Volpe captured the New England Championship 1,000 Meter Run with a time of 2:29.22, finishing just .0:00.02 ahead of the second-place runner from Central Connecticut. Volpe was the only Division II qualifier in the race.
