NE10 Player of the Week
Ty'zhea Hawkins, Adelphi
Graduate | Guard | Brentwood, N.Y.
On her Senior Night, Hawkins dropped her third-highest game of the season -- a 29-point game in a 79-50 win against Saint Rose -- to help the Panthers secure the No. 10 seed (Adelphi trailed Saint Rose by a game in the conference standings entering Tuesday's game) in the NE10 Championship. She made 10-of-16 shots from the field and all seven of her attempts at the free-throw line.
NE10 Rookie of the Week
Ciara Norman, Bentley
Freshman | Forward | Roebling, N.J.
Norman scored a career-high 21 points, came up with 10 rebounds and drew 10 fouls as Bentley closed out the regular season with a 72-51 win over American International Tuesday. She made 8-of-13 from the field, got to the line 14 times and was a plus-28 in her second career start.
NE10 Weekly Honor Roll
Camryn DeBose, New Haven (Sr., G - Wellington, Fla.)
DeBose closed out the regular season leading the Chargers with 22 points, her ninth game of the season with 20+ in the scoring column, as the Chargers defeated Saint Anselm to earn the five seed in the NE10 playoffs. DoBose finished the night shooting 8-of-15 from the field, with half of her eight field goals form outside the arc, while she was a perfect 2-of-2 at the free throw line. She also added three boards, four assists and a pair of steals to her credit.
Lauren Hackett, Pace (Sr., G - Commack, N.Y.)
Hackett was second on the team in scoring with 14 points, had six rebounds, and led all players with five assists in a 73-54 win over Franklin Pierce to conclude the regular season.
Emma MacDonough, Saint Michael's (Gr., G - South Burlington, Vt.)
MacDonough tallied 18 points, six rebounds, four offensive boards and two steals at Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday.
Jess Knight, Southern N.H. (Jr., F - Hanover, Mass.)
Knight recorded a double-double of 17 points (8-13 FG, 1-4 FT) and 12 rebounds, adding two assists and two blocks, as the Penmen secured a first-round bye with a 56-39 win against Saint Michael's on Tuesday.
