Ravens Enter Thursday as Defending League Champions.
MANSFIELD, Mass. – The 2021 Northeast-10 Conference Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for Thursday, April 22, at the Cold Spring Country Club with a one-day, 36-hole tournament format. Franklin Pierce, the reigning league champion, was voted atop the NE10 Women's Golf Pre-Championship Poll on Monday.
The Ravens recorded 25 points, as well as five first-place tallies, as they seek their second-straight NE10 title and third in the past four years. Saint Rose finished second with 18 points and a first-place tally, while Assumption (17), Stonehill (11), Le Moyne (10) and Adelphi (9) rounded-out the poll.
Cold Spring Country Club is located in Belchertown, Mass., and American International will serve as the tournament host. Live scoring will be available HERE, as well as on the NE10's women's golf championship page.
The first tee time will be on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will take place with a socially-distanced format after the final pairing has completed the course.
Franklin Pierce returns the First Team All-Conference duo of Taylor Hartley and Zoey Yamamoto in its pursuit of another league title. Hartley finished fourth overall in the 2019 NE10 Championship. Since the NE10 began sponsoring a women's golf championship in 2015, only Franklin Pierce (2) and Merrimack (4) have won league titles.
