NE10 Player of the Week

Zoey Yamamoto, Franklin Pierce
Graduate Student | Honolulu, Hawaii

Yamamoto has not finished lower than third place in all three invitationals for the Ravens. At the Hartford Invitational, in a field of all Division I golfers, Yamamoto was the co-medalist shooting a 72 (E) scorecard. In the Ravens' invitational win on Monday at Assumption, she placed second with a 83 (+11) showing.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Hannah Trinh, Adelphi
Freshman | Princeton Meadows, N.J.

Trinh earned top individual honors to lead the Adelphi women's golf team on Tuesday at the Assumption Invitational. She carded an 81 through 18 holes at the Par 72 Cyprian Keyes Golf Club. Trinh also saw a third place finish at the Saint Rose Invitational on Friday. The rookie was the top finisher for Adelphi, posting a team- and season-best 167 (80-87).


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Jenna Werle, Saint Rose (So. - Cocoa, Fla.)
Led by two four-over 75's from sophomore Drew Semons and Eddie Morin, the Hawks wrapped up the match against Franklin Pierce with a 306 total, four strokes off the Ravens. Both Semons and Morin tied for second place in the two-team field. Semons fired an even 35 on the front nine, recording par on every single hole in the opening nine. He then started the back nine with three straight pars before dropping one stroke on the par-four 13th. He ended his round with three straight bogies on the last three holes to post a four-over 40.

Julia Dapron, Stonehill (So. - Dorset, Vt.)
Turned in two top-ten finishes to lead the Skyhawks at their first two tournaments of the season. Recorded an 87.33 stroke average over the three rounds of golf. She led Stonehill at last Wednesday's Saint Rose Invitational as the lone Stonehill golfer with both rounds in the 80s to finish seventh in the field of 33 competitors. She posted rounds of 88 and 87 on the day, carding two birdies in the first round, and another in the afternoon, recording a two on the par-3 third hole in each round. Dapron also carded an 87 to finish tied for 9th out of 31 golfers at Monday's Assumption Invitational.
