Ravens Shoot +22 on Monday; Secure Fourth-Straight NE10 Championship.

SOUTHWICK, Mass. – Behind four individual top-10 finishers, the Franklin Pierce women's golf program claimed its fourth-consecutive Northeast-10 Conference title on Monday at The Ranch Golf Club. It is the league-high fifth NE10 title for Franklin Pierce in team history.

The Ravens shot a 49-over (625) as a team in the 36-hole tournament - a remarkable winning margin of 48 strokes over Adelphi and Le Moyne, who tied for second at 97-over. Franklin Pierce had a 10-stroke lead over Adelphi after Sunday's first round, then exploded with a 22-over on Monday - 24 shots better than the nearest opponent Le Moyne (46-over).

Sophomores Kesinee Prukmathakul and Phisonlaya Ruayruen finished second and third at the Championship, respectively, on the individual leaderboard to lead the Ravens to victory and to earn a place on the All-Championship Team. Prukmathakul, the 2021 NE10 individual medalist, shot a two-over (146) for the tournament, while Ruayruen carded a nine-over (153).

Teammates Alia Godek and Lorelai Flanagan joined Prukmathakul and Ruayruen in the top 10, placing sixth and 10th respectively on the leaderboard. The only other team to secure multiple top-10 finishers was Le Moyne with Mia Avotins at fifth and Thais Forbes at eighth.

Adelphi's Ilaria Ponziani won NE10 individual medalist honors after shooting a one-over (145) for the tournament. Ponziani led all players in birdies (7), Par 3 scoring (one-under) and Par 4 scoring (one-over). Her first round of three-under (69) was a tournament-best and she became the first Adelphi golfer to win medalist honors at the NE10 Championship.

Prukmathakul led the 37-player field in pars (23) and Par 5 scoring (four-under par). As a team, Franklin Pierce led all programs in Par 3 scoring (20-over), Par 4 scoring (57-over), Par 5 scoring (5-over), pars (93) and eagles (1).

Adelphi's Emily McKenna, who finished tied for 15th, was named the NE10 Elite 24 Award winner with her 3.969 GPA as a Studio Art major. The Elite 24 honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site of each NE10 Championship.

The NE10 All-Championship consisted of Ponziani, Prukmathakul, Ruayruen, Avotins and Assumption's Jenny Walsh
