Johnson and Pollock Represent Reigning National Champions.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – U.S. Lacrosse Magazine announced earlier this week its 2021 Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans, which includes four players from three different institutions in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Alison Johnson and Kole Pollock represent Adelphi, the reigning NCAA national champions from the most recent completed season in 2019. Le Moyne's Olivia McEntee and New Haven's Raven Linton join the Panthers' duo on the 13-player list of Preseason All-Americans.

During the 2019 season, both Johnson and Pollock were named NE10 First Team All-Conference and led Adelphi to its ninth NCAA title in program history. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic resulting in cancelled NCAA championships last March, the Panthers remain defending champions heading into the 2021 season.

Pollock, an IWLCA First Team All-American in 2019, was named Division II Player and Attacker of the Year at the conclusion of her junior season. She additionally was named a finalist for the DII Honda Award. Now a graduate student, Pollock ranks in the top 10 in Adelphi history in points (265), points per game (4.02), goals (215) and free-position goals (26) for a career.

Johnson, an IWLCA Second Team All-American in 2019, ranked fourth in assists in Division II (72) and helped Adelphi to its fourth national title in the past six seasons. She is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American and two-time IWLCA First Team All-American, as well as the 2020 NE10 Sport Excellence Award winner. In Adelphi's record books, Johnson ranks sixth in career points (332), third in points per game (5.11) and first in assists (226).

McEntee is a fifth-year defender for the Dolphins – a perennial national power – who is coming off consecutive NE10 First Team All-Conference selections (2018 and 2019). In 2019, McEntee was named an IWLCA First Team All-American after a strong season for Le Moyne, which recorded 20 victories – the second-most wins in program history. The NE10 coaches voted her the Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.

Linton, a graduate student for the Chargers, was an IWLCA First Team All-America selection as a defender in 2019 – a season that saw her rank fifth in the NE10 in draw controls (98), seventh in caused turnovers (36) and fifth in ground balls (43). She is a two-time NE10 First Team All-Conference pick and has helped New Haven go 29-10 (.744) in conference play since her freshman season in 2017.
