Week 5 - April 19, 2021

NE10 Player of the Week

Erin McMullen, Le Moyne
Senior | Attack | Syracuse, N.Y.

McMullen registered 10 points on nine goals, including an overtime game-winner, and one assist and recorded 17 draw controls in third-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She had five points on four goals and one assist and added 11 draw controls in an 18-6 win at American International on Tuesday. She scored five goals, including the game-winner with less than five seconds left on the shot clock, in an 8-7 overtime victory over 11th-ranked Adelphi on Saturday, while adding six draw controls.


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Eliza Bresler, Bentley
Graduate Student | Goalkeeper | Newton, Mass.

In three games last week, Bresler went 2-1 with a 6.00 GAA and 67.3 save percentage. Made 13 saves and had a career high 86.7 save percentage in a 12-2 victory at Saint Michael's on April 15. On Saturday made 13 saves and had a 76.5 save percentage to help Bentley to a 17-4 victory at Southern New Hampshire. Broke Bentley's record for career saves in that game as well.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Cypress Levitt, New Haven
Freshman | Midfield | Calais, Vt.

In a 1-1 week for New Haven, Levitt finished tied for the team lead with six goals while adding an assist for seven points. Among her six goals was one that came on a free position attempt. She also registered a team-high 10 draw controls, caused a pair of turnovers and scooped up one ground ball. Levitt opened the week with a pair of goals and an assist in a road win over Saint Rose, while also corralling seven draw controls. She then capped off the week rattling off a career-high four goals, all of which came in a row, against Pace.


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Julia Glavin, Bentley (Sr., A - Ipswich, Mass.)
Glavin totaled 7 goals and 3 assists in three games last week. She had hat tricks in wins at Saint Michael's and Southern New Hampshire. Totaled six ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers for the week. 

Savannah Ernst, Franklin Pierce (Jr., A - American Fork, Utah)
In Franklin Pierce's only action last week, piled up five goals and one assist for six points in a win over Stonehill at home on Sunday. Put eight shots on goal and scored on her only free-position shot. Snagged two ground balls and five draw controls along the way.

Paige Crandall, Le Moyne (So., G - Adams, N.Y.)
She recorded a 6.26 goals against average, 21 saves and a .656 save percentage in third-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She made eight saves (against four goals) over 43:56 in an 18-6 win at American International on Tuesday. She registered a career high-tying 13 saves in an 8-7 overtime victory over 11th-ranked Adelphi on Saturday.

Annie Acquavita, New Haven (So., A - Cheshire, Conn.)
In a 1-1 week for New Haven, Acquavita finished tied for the team lead with six goals and added to that a pair of assists for a team-high eight points. She opened up the week with five goals and a pair of assists in a road win over Saint Rose, which combined with her career-high against the Golden Knights in the first meeting, Acquavita racked up 11 goals against the divisional foe. She then capped off the week with a goal in a home loss to Pace.

Carlyn Mucci, Pace (Sr., A - Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.)
Mucci piloted the Pace offense during a pair of games last week. The NE10's leading scorer totaled nine points in a 1-1 stretch for the Setters. She followed up three goals in a loss at 11th-ranked Adelphi with four tallies and a pair of assists in an 18-7 win at No. 16 New Haven.

Annie Richards, Saint Anselm (Sr., A - Reading, Mass.)
Richards was the main scorer for the Hawks in the 2-0 week, defeating No. 13 Bentley (12-11) and then Southern New Hampshire (19-10). Richards has scored 10 points in the week, eight coming via assists. She also led the team's offensive effort with eight points on two goals and six assists (2-6=8) against the Penmen. Earlier in the week, she assisted on two goals against the Falcons.

Lydia Rudden, Stonehill (So., A - Hopkinton, Mass.)
Led the Skyhawks in a 1-1 week with five goals and three assists for eight points. Added three ground balls and a caused turnover for the week. Posted a career-high four goals, to go with an assist for a season-high matching five points, in Tuesday's 19-4 win over Saint Michael's, chipping in two ground balls and a caused turnover. Added a goal and two assists for a team-high three points at Franklin Pierce on Sunday. 

Kaleigh Wright, Stonehill (Sr. G - Westborough, Mass.)
Wright averaged 9.5 saves and posted a 7.00 goals against average and .576 save percentage while playing all 120 minutes of a 1-1 week for the Skyhawks. Also chipped in three ground balls. Posted her fourth double-figure save performance of the season with ten at Franklin Pierce, keeping Stonehill alive in the one-goal setback. Added nine stops, while yielding just four goals, in Tuesday's 19-4 win over Saint Michael's.
