Week 6 - April 26, 2021

NE10 Player of the Week

Savannah Ernst, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Attack | American Fork, Utah

Piled up 17 points on 15 goals and two assists in a 2-1 week for the Ravens. Attempted 31 shots, including 25 goals, and went 5-for-8 on free-position shots. Picked up four ground balls, nabbed nine draw controls and caused one turnover along the way. Went for eight points (7-1-8), along with two ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover in a win at SNHU on Friday. 


NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Allie Collins, Assumption
Junior | Goalkeeper | Natick, Mass.

Collins put up double digit saves in both games of a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. She started the week with 11 saves in a 13-10 final over Saint Anselm on Thursday. She went on to make 12 saves in another close battle with the Ravens. Collins finished the week with a 53.5 save percentage, lifting Assumption to a 7-2 overall record.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

Olivia Catanzarite, Assumption
Freshman | Attack | East Longmeadow, Mass.

Catanzarite added seven points from six goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Greyhounds. She started the week with three goals and one assist in a 13-10 victory at Saint Anselm on Thursday. She added three goals in a 13-10 final over Franklin Pierce on Sunday. Catanzarite finished the week with a 57.1 shots on goal percentage and added three ground balls to her stat sheet. 


NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Kole Pollock, Adelphi (Sr., A - Massapequa, N.Y.)
In a 2-0 week for Adelphi women's lacrosse, the Panthers outscored their opponents 40-14 with the help of eight goals from Kole Pollock. She notched a game-best six points in a win at New Haven with five goals and one assist.

Krista Iwanicki, American International (Sr., M - Granby, Conn.)
Iwanicki was brilliant at both ends of the field in AIC's final two regular season games against New Haven and Southern Connecticut. She scored a hat trick in both games on the offensive side, and caused a combined nine caused turnovers while winning 13 draw controls between the two games. 

Allison Foley, Assumption (Sr., M - Walpole, Mass.)
Foley led Assumption on offense to a 2-0 week. She posted eight points from seven goals and one assist over the two games. Foley started the week with two goals in a 13-10 win at Saint Anselm and went on to put up a game-changing five goals and one assist in a 13-10 victory at Franklin Pierce. She finished the week with a 78.6 shots on goal percentage.

Eliza Bresler, Bentley (Gr., GK - Newton, Mass.)
Bresler continued her stellar season with two wins for the 15th-ranked Falcons. Posted a miniscule 5.33 GAA for the week, along with a 63.6 save percentage. Made eight saves and had five ground balls to help Bentley to a 9-7 win over No. 20 Saint Anselm on April 20.

Julia Glavin, Bentley (Sr., A - Ipswich, Mass.)
Glavin helped Bentley earn two more wins to close out the regular season, over nationally ranked Saint Anselm and Saint Michael's. Scored four of Bentley's nine goals to lead them to a 9-7 victory over the 20th ranked Hawks. Then scored three goals in a Senior Day victory over the Purple Knights.

Paige Crandall, Le Moyne (So., GK - Adams, N.Y.)
She registered 18 saves, a .563 save percentage and a 9.33 goals against average in third-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She made two saves (against one goal) in the first half of an 18-3 win at Saint Rose on Wednesday. She recorded a career-high 16 saves, including 13 in the first half, in a 21-13 victory at 17th-ranked Pace on Saturday.

Sidney Hall, Le Moyne (Sr., A - Adams Center, N.Y.)
She registered 10 points on five goals and five assists in third-ranked Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She posted four points on two goals and two assists in an 18-3 win at Saint Rose on Wednesday. She followed with six points on three goals and three assists in a 21-13 victory at 17th-ranked Pace on Saturday. 

Marina Skelly, New Haven (Jr., M - Ronkonkoma, N.Y.)
Skelly led New Haven's offense in a 1-1 week, scattering seven goals across the two games. She opened up the week with four goals and an assist in a road win over American International, before leading the Chargers with three goals in a home loss to Adelphi. The junior midfielder added four ground balls and six draw controls, while her seven goals came on eight total shots on goal. Overall for the season, Skelly has scored at least one goal in all but one game, while she has racked up a hat trick a team-high five times. 

Kelsey Czarnota, Saint Anselm (Sr. M - Wakefield, Mass.)
Czarnota powered the Hawks offense, netting seven goals and one assists. She also earned 13 draw controls in the 1-2 week. Czarnota started the week with a two-goal performance against Bentley on Apr. 20 before recording one against Assumption. She responded by scoring four goals and assisting in one against Stonehill on Apr. 24. She has recorded one or more points in the past nine straight games. 

Emma Coleman, Saint Michael's (Sr., D - Scarsdale, N.Y.)
Coleman averaged 5.5 caused turnovers and 4.0 ground balls during a two-game week, moving into 10th place in NE10 history in caused turnovers (117). Coleman notched six caused turnovers and two ground balls in an 11-7 loss to Franklin Pierce on Tuesday before collecting six ground balls and five caused turnovers at 15th-ranked Bentley on Saturday.

Hailey Gordon, Southern Connecticut (Sr. A - Niantic, Conn.)
Gordon scored six goals and recorded five assists in three games for the Owls. As part of a two-goal game against St. Rose, she helped lead the Owls' comeback with a game-tying goal with 4:50 remaining. Against Adelphi, Gordon scored four goals and recorded an assist as part of a five-point afternoon. Gordon then set a new career-high in assists with four against AIC.

Lydia Rudden, Stonehill (So., A - Hopkinton, Mass.)
Led the Skyhawks with nine points in a 1-1 week, totaling four goals and five assists, while collecting a pair of ground balls. She dished out a career-high matching five assists, to go with a goal in Wednesday's 16-5 win over Southern N.H., then added a team-high three goals at No. 20 Saint Anselm on Saturday night.
