Divisional Semifinals Set for Monday.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – The Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship got underway on Friday afternoon, as all high seeds from both the Northeast and Southwest Divisions advanced to Monday's divisional semifinal contests.

Among the victors were four nationally-ranked programs, including No. 11 Adelphi, No. 14 Assumption, No. 18 Pace and No. 20 New Haven. Monday's matchups, which will feature top seeds Bentley and Le Moyne – as well as the Northeast Division second seed, Saint Anselm – will all be available to watch on NE10NOW.tv.

(3SW) Adelphi 20, (6SW) American International 3 – Box Score

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The 2021 women's lacrosse season kicked off its first Northeast-10 Conference tournament with divisional format on Friday afternoon, when #6 American International came to Garden City and suffered a 20-3 loss at the hands of #3 SW Adelphi women's lacrosse in the Southwest Division quarterfinals.

In the 17-goal victory, Adelphi's Alison Johnson was responsible for 11 assists - which is good enough to appear in the top-10 of the individual single game leaders and with one more career assist, she will be in a tie for second in the Division II ranking for career assists. Her play-making allowed four different players to find the back of the net with Christina McCabe leading the charge with seven goals. Kole Pollock followed suit and chipped in five while adding two helpers as Christina Ferrara added a hat trick and then some to the scoring spree.

(3NE) Franklin Pierce 15, (6NE) Saint Michael's 7 – Box Score

RINDGE, N.H. - It was a tale of two halves on Friday afternoon at Sodexo Field, in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. The Franklin Pierce University women's lacrosse team did enough in a strong first half to ensure the team would not be bitten by a lackluster second half. The Ravens used a seven-goal afternoon from junior Savannah Ernst to pick up the program's first-ever postseason victory, 15-7, over visiting Saint Michael's.

With the win, Franklin Pierce, the Northeast Division's third seed, improves to 7-2 and advances to Monday's divisional semifinal. The Ravens will travel to take on second-seeded Saint Anselm at 7 p.m.

(4NE) Assumption 17, (5NE) Southern New Hampshire 3 – Box Score

WORCESTER, Mass. - Assumption, ranked No. 14 in the IWLCA poll and the fourth seed in the Northeast Division of the NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship, cruised to a 17-3 victory over fifth-seeded Southern New Hampshire in first round play.

10 different players scored goals for the Greyhounds, including four tallies from Allison Foley. Allie Collins made eight saves between the pipes in just over 55 minutes of play, leading Assumption into Monday's divisional semifinals where it will meet top-seeded Bentley.

(4SW) New Haven 14, (5SW) Southern Connecticut 6 – Box Score

WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Junior attack Marina Skelly notched a career-high six goals Friday night as the No. 20 New Haven women's lacrosse team took down Southern Connecticut 14-6 in the first round of the NE10 Championships.

Skelly led a group of six players who reached the back of the net in the game, including sophomore Annie Acquavita who finished with a hat-trick, her fifth of the season. Senior Mary Rishmany also contributed a pair of goals, followed by three players who each recorded a single score.

(2SW) Pace 20, (7SW) Saint Rose 8 – Box Score

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Playing at home to begin the 2021 Northeast-10 Conference Tournament, the 18th-ranked Pace University women's lacrosse team tallied a 20-8 triumph over Saint Rose in the Divisional First Round on Friday night.

It was another dominant effort from the Setters as they recorded their eighth double-digit victory of the season. Pace has put together an average winning margin of 12.3 goals across its nine triumphs in 2021.

Pace started the game on a 12-1 run prior to taking a 10-goal edge into the halftime break. Saint Rose was never able to cut the Pace lead to less than eight goals across the final 40 minutes of regulation.
