Adelphi Stuns Top-Seeded Le Moyne on Thursday.

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Adelphi handed Le Moyne its first loss of the season on Thursday in the Southwest Divisional Final of the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship, advancing to Sunday's final against Bentley – the top seed in the Northeast Division.

The Panthers, the three-seed in the Southwest Division and reigning NCAA champion, won a competitive road game by a 9-8 margin against the top-seeded Dolphins to move on to their first NE10 title contest since 2018. Le Moyne, who is ranked No. 3 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll, dropped its first game of the season and moves to 13-1.

Bentley edged the Northeast Division's two seed Saint Anselm, 13-10, on Thursday night, advancing to its first NE10 final since 2007. The Falcons will serve as host of the NE10 Women's Lacrosse Championship for the first time in program history on Sunday.

Sunday's game (time TBD) will be streamed on NE10 NOW, the conference's digital streaming platform.
