MANSFIELD, Mass. – Adelphi, the reigning NCAA East Region champion, will enter the 2023 season as the league favorite, according to the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll announced on Thursday afternoon.

It is the third time in the past four seasons that the Panthers have been voted first in the poll by NE10 head coaches.

Adelphi received 142 points and 11 first-place votes to finish atop the preseason standings. Head coach Pat McCabe led the program to its 14th all-time appearance in the NCAA Division II semifinals in 2022, finishing with an 18-3 record (12-1 in NE10 contests). The Panthers have won nine NCAA titles in program history – six of which have come since joining the NE10.

Le Moyne, the 2022 NE10 Championship finalist under head coach Liz Beville, has been tabbed second by the coaches with 130 points and the remaining two first-place nods. Pace is third with 127 points, with New Haven (99 points) and Assumption (97 points) rounding-out the top five.
