ALBANY, N.Y. - After the Hawks opened the scoring on a 35th-minute header by midfielder Olivia Gotobed, Saint Rose would respond with five unanswered goals to secure its third consecutive appearance in the conference postseason championship.

Junior forward Lauren Amerena tallied the first score for the Golden Knights, netting a strike just four minutes after the Saint Anselm score to bring the margin to 1-1 at halftime.

The Saint Rose offense would come out aggressive in the second half, with the Golden Knights receiving the go-ahead score by junior forward Kaelyn Britt 13 minutes into the frame to propel Saint Rose ahead 2-1.

Sophomore forward Mia Klammer struck next when she took a pass ahead from Britt and chipped the ball over Hawks keeper Kate Macaluso with 10:32 left. Freshman midfield Madelyn Wania and sophomore forward Olivia Boucher each added a goal as well for Saint Rose in the final ten minutes.
