NE10 Player of the Week

Amanda Parker, Bentley
Graduate Student | Setter/Opposite Hitter | St. Charles, Ill.

In conference wins over Southern New Hampshire and Saint Anselm, Parker totaled 15 kills, 41 assists, 31 digs, 9 blocks and 21 points while hitting .250. Her averages included 1.88 kills, 5.13 assists, 3.88 digs, 1.13 blocks and 2.69 points in an outstanding all-around effort. Her week included her second triple-double of the season as she led Bentley to a five-set win over SNHU with 11 kills, 25 assists, 4 blocks, 17 digs, a .370 hitting percentage and 14.5 points. 

NE10 Libero of the Week

Isabella Leslie, Le Moyne
Sophomore | Defensive Specialist | Elmhurst, Ill.

Leslie averaged 5.22 digs and 0.56 service aces in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She opened the week with 28 digs and two service aces in a 3-1 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday. She followed with 19 digs and three aces in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Southern Connecticut on Saturday.

NE10 Setter of the Week

Naomi Eckert Rivera, American International
Junior | Setter | Toa Baja, Puerto Rico

Eckert Rivera continued to be a force on both offense and defense for AIC in a 2-0 week. She collected 74 assists in seven sets, and also led the team with 19 digs as the Yellow Jackets defeated the Setters and Panthers.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Haley Gerken, Le Moyne
Freshman | Setter | Buffalo, N.Y.

Gerken averaged 7.67 assists and 1.56 digs per set in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She tallied 39 assists, eight digs and a pair of service aces in a 3-1 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday. She closed out the week with 30 assists and six digs in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Southern Connecticut on Saturday.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll

Brenna Valsted, Adelphi (Sr, S - Louisville, Kent.)
Despite a 0-2 week, Valsted was responsible for 70 assists (7.78 per set) and totaled 25 digs alongside 13 kills. In the conference opener at AIC, she notched her first-career triple-double with an impressive 31 assists, 14 digs and 11 kills. She also added six block assists to boot. 

Paola Soto Burgos, American Int'l (So., OH - Coamo, Puerto Rico)
Soto Burgos turned in another fine week as AIC won its first two NE10 matches. She collected a total of 23 kills and 13 digs while also making four blocks in victories over Pace and Adelphi.

Jazzy Burke, Bentley (So., DS - Lake George, N.Y.)
During two NE10 wins, Burke totaled 34 digs with 16 against Southern New Hampshire and 18 in a 3-0 sweep at Saint Anselm. Her average was 4.25.

Madeleine Kennedy, Le Moyne (Sr., OH - Chelsea, Mich.)
Kennedy averaged 2.89 kills and 3.1 points in Le Moyne's 2-0 week. She recorded 10 kills and a pair of blocks in a 3-1 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Tuesday. She tallied 16 kills and two digs in a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over Southern Connecticut State on Saturday.

Georgette Cosentino, Pace (So., S - Scarsdale, N.Y.)
Cosentino continued her strong sophomore season during the Setters' two matches last week. The Weschester County native totaled 58 assists, 23 digs and five service aces across seven sets of action. She is currently ranked fourth in the NE10 in assists per set this season.

Jessica Vargas, Saint Rose (Jr., OH - Phoenix, Ariz.)
Vargas tallied 33 kills (3.67 per set) on a .325 percentage and lifted 24 digs (2.67 d/s) across a 1-1 stretch for the Golden Knights. Vargas started the week with 18 kills on Tuesday against New Haven, followed by a 15-kill effort on Saturday to help Saint Rose come back and win in five sets after trailing 2-0 at Pace. 

Kacey Deecher, So. Connecticut (Jr., OH - Granby, Mass.)
Deecher was solid in a 1-1 week for the Owls. She swung for .339 and averaged 3.0 kills per set and 3.0 digs per set. The junior put up two double-double performances with 10 kills and 13 digs against Bridgeport, before hitting a career-high 14 kills and 11 digs against Le Moyne. She also chipped in four blocks and two service aces.

Taylor Jones, So. Connecticut (Jr., S - Middletown, N.Y.)
Jones posted two solid performances for the Owls in a 1-1 week. She averaged 9.38 assists per set and 3.13 digs per set. Against Bridgeport, she recorded a double-double of 34 assists and 10 digs, while adding one service ace. Against Le Moyne, she registered 41 assists, 15 digs, and career-highs in both blocks and service aces with five apiece. 

Sara Montefameglio, Southern N.H. (Sr., S - Turin, Italy)
Montefameglio dished 81 assists (9.0 a/s), to go along with 18 digs (2.0 d/s) and four aces (0.44 sa/s), with a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Montefameglio handed out 39 helpers and collected nine digs in Tuesday's five-set loss at Bentley, and then added 42 assists, nine digs and three aces in a 3-1 victory at New Haven on Saturday. 

Ana Pimenta, Southern N.H. (Jr., OH - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
Pimenta racked up 28 kills (3.11 k/s) and 28 digs (3/11 d/s), to go with three aces (0.33 sa/s) and a pair of blocks (0.22 b/s) during a 1-1 week for the Penmen. Pimenta produced a season-high 16 kills, 13 digs and three aces in Tuesday's heart-breaking, 3-2 defeat at Bentley, before adding 12 kills and 15 digs for her second double-double of the week in a 3-1 win at New Haven on Saturday.
