NE10 Player of the Week

Lauren Casey, Saint Anselm
Senior | Outside Hitter | Jefferson City, Mo.

Casey averaged 3.36 kills per set in a 2-1 week for the Hawks with a total of 37 kills on 136 swings, good for a 0.162 hitting percentage. Casey aided the Saint Anselm defense with 34 digs which translates to a 3.09 digs per set ratio. Casey totaled 48.5 points with two double-doubles including a 15 kill, 13 dig match against American International.

NE10 Libero of the Week

Jazzy Burke, Bentley
Sophomore | Defensive Specialist | Lake George, N.Y.

Burke established a career-best with 31 digs, an average of 7.75, in the Falcons' four-set win over New Haven Friday night. She also had five assists, two aces and a .963 reception percentage.

NE10 Setter of the Week

Brenna Valsted, Adelphi
Senior | Setter | Louisville, Kent.

Valsted was responsible for 11 assists per set in another perfect week for Adelphi volleyball (3-0). Against conference opponents, she accounted for 11.20 assist per set, while adding 2.60 digs per set as well.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Ella Patterson, Saint Michael's
Freshman | Outside Hitter | Folsom, Calif.

Patterson averaged 3.6 kills and 2.4 digs per set across three matches last week. She totaled 15 kills, 10 digs and one ace while hitting .294 against Franklin Pierce during a 3-0 loss on Tuesday, when the Purple Knights lost the three sets by a combined seven points. On Friday, Patterson posted seven kills, seven digs and an assist against Adelphi before adding 14 kills and seven digs in a 3-1 loss to Pace on Saturday. 

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Naomi Eckert Rivera, American International (Sr., S - Toa Baja, Puerto Rico)
Eckert Rivera played a key role in AIC's 2-1 week, with nine sets played and 86 assists for 9.56 assists per set. She also added 29 digs (3.22 per set) and a pair of blocks for the Yellow Jackets.

Paola Soto Burgos, American International (So., OH - Coamo, Puerto Rico)
Soto Burgos kept up her sharp hitting in a 2-1 week for AIC. She landed 30 kills in eight sets of work, hitting .324, including a 16-1-28 showing against SNHU in a bounceback win for AIC. She also contributed seven blocks and 10 digs on the week.

Ingrid Murphy, Bentley (Sr., OH/DS - Cotuit, Mass.)
Murphy, in a 3-1 win over New Haven, led the Falcons with 14 kills, 21 digs, one ace, a block and 15.5 points. Her hitting percentage was .220 with five of her kills coming on first-ball attacks. The double-double was her seventh of the season. 

Brielle Jones, Pace (Sr, OH - Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.)
Jones was dominant all over the court in a 1-1 week for Pace, accumulating 35 points, 29 kills, 17 digs, 5 service aces, and 2 assists.  

Michelle Henwood, Saint Anselm (Sr., S - Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) 
Henwood posted 89 assists in a 2-1 week for the Hawks which included wins over Southern N.H. and American International, good for an average of 8.09 assists per set. The senior added 16 kills and 49 digs with five assisted blocks to aid the team through the three-match week. Henwood registered a double-double in each match with her top performance coming against the Penmen with 42 assists and 16 digs. 

Alexandra Báez Rentas, Saint Michael's (So., S - San Juan, Puerto Rico)
Báez Rentas averaged 8.4 assists and 6.1 digs per set last week, leading all players in digs during all three matches. She totaled 61 digs to the Purple Knights' opponents' liberos' 52 combined digs. Báez Rentas had 31 assists, 24 digs, two kills and one block in a 3-0 loss to Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, when Saint Michael's lost the three sets by a combined seven points. On Friday, she notched 20 assists, 15 digs and five kills in a 3-0 loss to Adelphi before collecting 33 assists, 22 digs, two kills and two blocks in a 3-1 setback to Pace on Saturday. 

Sara Enright, Southern Conn. St. (So., OH - Yorba Linda, Calif.)
In the Owls' lone game of the week - a three-game sweep against Pace - Sara Enright led the Owls with 10 kills, while hitting .500, 15 digs and four aces as well as two blocks.

Ana Pimenta, So. New Hampshire (Jr., OH - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
Pimenta recorded 26 kills (3.71 k/s) and 27 digs (3.86 d/s) during an 0-2 week for the Penmen. Pimenta posted 13 kills and 16 digs in a 3-1 loss at Saint Anselm on Tuesday and then registered 13 more kills and 11 digs in Saturday's 3-0 loss to AIC.
