NE10 Player of the Week

Macy Brown, New Haven
Sophomore | Outside Hitter | Cadilac, Mich.

Brown closed out a three-match week to wrap up the regular season with 30 kills, averaging 10 per match, while adding five assists, 10 service aces, 47 digs and three blocks. Brown opened up the week with a match-best 12 kills against Assumption, hitting .364 against the Greyhounds while adding seven digs and three aces. In the first match of the weekend against Saint Anselm she added 10 more kills and dour aces, while finishing with a double double leading the Chargers with 18 digs. She closed out the regular season with eight kills and a match-high five aces against the Purple Knights, while again leading the team in digs with 22.

NE10 Libero of the Week

Morgan Schmutzler, Franklin Pierce
Junior | Libero | Lockport, Ill.

The Raven libero started in both matchups for the Ravens in a 2-0 week, collecting 44 digs while averaging 6.29 digs per set. On the offensive front, Schmutzler also added in a combination of 4 assists and four service aces.

NE10 Setter of the Week

Sara Montefameglio, SNHU
Senior | Setter | Turin, Italy

Sara Montefameglio tallied 70 assists (11.67 a/s), three aces (0.50 sa/s) and 21 digs (3.50 d/s) during a 2-0 week for the Penmen. Montefameglio posted 39 assists, one ace, two blocks and nine digs in a 3-0 win over Le Moyne on Friday, before recording 31 assists, two aces and 12 digs in Saturday's three-set victory against Saint Rose.

NE10 Rookie of the Week

Annaka Lindstrom, Franklin Pierce
Freshman | Setter | Dudley, Mass.

The first-year setter had quite the week for Franklin Pierce, posting consecutive 41 assist matches with a compiled 83 total assists, averaging 11.86 assists per set in a pair of victories for the Ravens. Additionally, the Raven freshman compiled 5 kills as well as 10 digs, three service aces and four block assists at the net.

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll  

Brenna Valsted, Adelphi (Sr., S - Louisvile, Ky.)
Despite a loss this week for Adelphi volleyball, Brenna Valsted lead all players with 31 assists and 22 digs to average 7.75 assists and 5.50 digs per set. She also added four kills to contribute one per frame.

Jazzy Burke, Bentley (So., DS - Lake George, N.Y.)
Burke totaled 31 assists, an average of 4.43 per set, during wins over Adelphi and Pace. She had a .950 reception percentage with only two errors in 40 targets, and also served five aces, including four against Adelphi.

Ingrid Murphy, Bentley (Sr., OH/DS - Cotuit, Mass.)
During a 2-0 weekend that secured a share of the Northeast-10 regular season championship, Murphy hit .313 while averaging 2.43 kills, 4.0 digs, 3.0 points and 0.57 aces. She had 9 kills, 3 aces and 16 points in a four-setter against Adelphi and 8 kills, 1 ace and 12 digs in a sweep of Pace.

Mariah Robles, Franklin Pierce (Sr., RS - West Covina, Calif.)
In a 2-0 week for Franklin Pierce, Robles contributed heavily to the Ravens' offensive efforts, registering 27 kills with three assists, with a 3.86 kills per set average. Defensively, the Raven senior also added 20 total digs along with four block assists at the net, all together averaging 4.3 points per set.

Lauren Casey, Saint Anselm (So., OH - Jefferson City, Mo.)
Casey led the Hawks with 21 kills, good for an average of 3.50 kills per set between the pair of 3-0 wins for Saint Anselm. The senior added 17 digs and five blocks, one solo and four assisted, for the Hawks defense. Casey registered 16 kills and eight digs with one block in the win over New Haven.

Michelle Henwood, Saint Anselm (Sr., S - Guaynabo, Puerto Rico)
The senior setter went for 50 assists between the pair of 3-0 wins for the Hawks to conclude the regular season. Henwood added 10 kills, six service aces, and 25 digs for the Hawks. In Friday's win over New Haven, Henwood threw up 34 assists and added 16 digs for her 15th double-double of the season.

Alexandra Baez Rentas, Saint Michael's (So., S - San Juan, Puerto Rico)
Sophomore Alexandra Báez Rentas averaged 6.4 assists, 5.1 digs and 1.3 kills per set while adding five blocks over the weekend. In a 3-1 loss to Southern Connecticut State on Friday, she totaled 24 assists, 21 digs, six kills and a block. During another 3-1 setback to regionally-ranked New Haven on Saturday, Báez Rentas turned in 27 assists, 20 digs, four blocks, four kills and an ace.

Gabriela Gaibur, Southern Conn. St. (Sr., OH - Monroe, N.Y.)
In a 1-1 week, Gabriela Gaibur led the Owls with 26 kills and 19 digs. Against Saint Michael's, she turned in a double-double performance with 15 kills and 11 digs.

Deanne Wilson, Southern N.H. (So., DS - Buffalo, N.Y.)
Deanne Wilson totaled 29 digs (4.83 d/s) and two aces (0.33 sa/s) during SNHU's 2-0 week. Wilson tallied 15 digs and a pair of aces in Friday's 3-0 victory against Le Moyne and collected 14 digs in another three-set win over Saint Rose on Saturday.

Ana Pimenta, Southern N.H. (Jr., OH - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
Ana Pimenta posted 20 kills (3.33 k/s), two aces (0.33 sa/s), 15 digs (2.50 d/s) and three blocks (0.50 b/s) during a 2-0 week for SNHU. Pimenta led the way in Friday's three-set win against Le Moyne with 15 kills on .290 hitting, an ace, seven digs and three blocks. She then added five kills, and ace and eight digs in a 3-0 triumph over Saint Rose on Saturday.
