NE10 Player of the Week

Nick Weber, Post
Freshman | Forward | Woodbury, Minn.

Weber scored a hat trick and had two assists against SNHU in a 6-5 win on Friday night, which included the game-winning goal in overtime against the Penmen. He tacked on another goal on Saturday in a 4-3 loss to SNHU. For the weekend, he had six points (four goals, two assists) with a +6 ice rating.


NE10 Goaltender of the Week

Nick Howard, Saint Anselm
Senior | Goaltender | Burlington, Mass.

Howard posted 40 or more saves in back-to-back NE10 games against Assumption. The senior stopped 41 shots in a 4-3 loss on Friday before turning aside a career-high 47 shots on goal in a 4-3 win on Saturday. Howard closed the week with a 1-1-0 record, 88 total saves, good for a 0.926 save percentage, and a 3.55 goals-against average.


NE10 Rookie of the Week

NE10 Weekly Honor Roll 

Drew Benedict, Assumption (Gr., G - Cooper City, Fla.)
Benedict went 1-1 on the week, as the Greyhounds battled Saint Anselm for the top of the NE10. In two games, he averaged 3.56 goals per game and supported a .907 save percentage.

William Smith, Assumption (Fr., F - Hyde Park, Mass.)
Smith recorded two goals and two assists on the week, as the Greyhounds went 1-1. On Friday, Smith scored the game-winning goal with 2:00 minutes left in the third period, as Assumption picked up a 4-3 comeback win over Saint Anselm. In two games, Smith won 31-of-55 faceoffs (56.4 percent).

Devin Rohrich, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F - Pittsburgh, Penn.) 
Through three matchups this past week for the Ravens, Rohrich scored three goals and added three assists for a total of six points, along with a +2 rating. Out of the team's three matchups, two of the games were multi-point performances, and with a point in each of the contests extends Rohrich's point streak to six consecutive games. Additionally, the Raven freshman scored his first collegiate hat trick in a 5-1 victory over Saint Michael's on Saturday evening. 

Liam Lyons, Saint Anselm (Jr., F - Gloucester, Mass.)
Lyons netted four goals and added an assist for five points in a 2-1-0 week for the Hawks. The junior opened the week with a pair of goals against Framingham State in non-conference action and later netted two goals and added an assist for three points in Saturday's win over Assumption. Lyons skated to a plus-four on-ice rating in the three-game week and fired 14 shots on goal. 

Cole Manahan, Saint Michael's (Fr., G - Hermantown, Minn.)
Manahan entered Friday's 6-4 win over Franklin Pierce with the Purple Knights trailing 3-0 after 20 minutes before stopping 18 of his 19 shots faced to nab the win with 40 minutes of relief.

Matt Schreiner, Saint Michael's (Sr., F - Falmouth, Mass.)
Schreiner posted a goal and an assist while finishing +2 and winning 75.0% (30x40) of his faceoffs during a weekend split with Franklin Pierce. In a 6-4 win on Friday, he scored the tying goal at 7:48 of the second period to complete a comeback from a 3-0 deficit while going +2 with a block and a 15-for-19 faceoff performance. On Saturday, he assisted the Purple Knights' lone goal to make it 3-1 late in the second period of a 5-1 loss, which the Ravens iced with two empty-net goals. Schreiner blocked another shot and finished 15-for-21 on faceoffs. 

George Thurston, Southern N.H. (Sr., F - Plymouth, Mass.)
Thurston netted his NE10-leading eighth power-play goal Saturday to help lift SNHU to a 4-3 win at Post. He also handed out two assists on Friday in a 6-5 overtime loss. For the season, the senior has nine goals and seven assists.
